Military shoots down another high-altitude object, over Lake Huron, officials say

The military says it shot down another high-altitude object this time over Lake Huron. Ok so this has gone from” ya gotta be kidding to what the /-@$&¥£~…§ is going on. “. It is time that Old Man Biden has a news conference and has Sec Of Def Austin there with him. The DOD maybnot know everything yet but the country needs to know WT*** is going on. I have been nice to Biden thus far but my patience is getting thin.

 

Again... Targeting data efforts increase just prior to any attack.

 

It certainly feeds the narrative that Biden is compromised via Hunter and James.
It feeds the narrative that Biden ain’t the guy for today’s White House.
And it feeds the narrative that we are a paper tiger.
And we coincidentally just chased a Chinese Kilo class submarine away from our battle group.
And America is beginning to wake up.
Lastly, Trumps China warnings are being revisited by the media.
Those balloons could be carrying everything that is bad for us from bio warfare to EMP weapons, to regular surveillance they have no business conducting.
I want a president that tells China, “I’ll trade you your economy for Taiwan ‘cuz we won’t be buyin’ from y’all no mo.

 

It was actually in Canadian airspace.

It is looking like that but those a lower altitude and slower speed give the CHICOMS a better picture ( no pun intended). They obviously know that we have boomers under the oceans and seas. Of course our B-52s have had cruise missile capability for a while now but they need to be launched to send those puppies out.

China does have population to spare but it would be weakened severely as we would be and it would put Russia in the high seat.

 

I do not buy the Hunter Biden plop. Having said that my guess is that this is probing or attempted scare tactics. And as someone said this was planned many moons ago. We need to remember that China is a thousands ( with an s) year old civilization. They have staying power and Phoenix like attitudes. They are also very patient.

 

There are many options. Total war is just one.

 

Does not matter. Canada is part of the NORAD system and we with Canada have decided years ago that we will defend the North American air space together. Of course we have a much bigger Air Force so we are the prime partner. We have the Space Force. It is an embryo but it will play a bigger and bigger role as years go by. The Space Force was maybe the only thing that I agreed with the Trumpocity about but whoever told him about that idea deserves a Congressional Freedom medle.

 

The idea of the space force is from 1950s and seriously discussed in the 80s and the decision to create was made in 2001. The Air Force ran the space related missions, and now its under a different branch, so its not a big change.

Did you know Air Force did not exist during WW-2 and yet we flew thousands of combat missions. It was part of the Army aka Army Air Force.

 

Yes and that is obviously the option we need to avoid or the world will be a glowing ember.

If there are intelligent aliens out there and if they are monitoring us they must be taking bets on whether or not we will blow ourselves up. I could just see it two aliens from Dorkestan talking and Kwoaquawk say to Gibberslaq “ I told you so”.

Yes I new that …I am retired by the Air Force. In WWII it was called the Army Air Corps, then the Army Air Forces. The Air Force was born in 1947. My father in law was in the Army Air Corps just about the entire war.
I did not know about the Space Force deal. Well I will take that honor away from the Trumpocity.

 

I wonder if part of the calculation is that it cost more for us to scramble jets and shoot a missile than it does for them to make and send the balloon. We should start sending them a bill.

 

I'm afraid that we may have cranked up the radar after the first balloon, and now we are just noticing air junk floating around and are just overreacting. There may just be more old garbage floating around that we didn't realize was up there.

That would be pretty embarrassing.

 

This calls for a POTUS to be transparent and insure the country that the government is doing what it can without breaking National security.

 

It has to cost hundreds of thousands of dollars for such a mission.

 

The fine folks at Macy's are experts, and have some terrifying balloons in stock.

 

Rather be save than sorry as the old saying goes.

I wonder if that is more the the cost of the balloons especially these new smaller ones.

 

My father in law was a tail gunner on a B-24 at the Pacific theatre.

 

Tail gunner was one of the most dangerous jobs on a bomber during WWII.

 

At 20,000 feet a UAV could have gotten perfect pictures and video of the object. The media should be showing this object so why are there no pictures or videos? Or any of the last 3 objects? Did they actually exist? If not then what is our government up to? Preparing us for an attack by Russia for destroying a critical gas pipeline infrastructure that cost $20B? What would the US do if the role was reversed?
