And there is a larger percentage of pro-lifers who may not be identified as hating women but they do want them to be under control. Some men feel very threatened that a woman has the power over giving life or choosing not to, and they want that power back in their own hands. IAC, you cannot really value women as equal members of society and deny them control over their own bodies. You cannot want the best for women and yet force them to bear and care for children when they don't want to. You cannot want the best for women and yet see childbearing as the only feminine marker.

Pro-choicers don't care about conformity or forcing anything. It's pro-lifers who want one rule for everyone, no exceptions.

So do you disapprove of birth control, all of which is designed to stop a woman's natural bodily function? Most women competing in the corporate world do not want to STOP a woman's natural bodily function, they just want to control it. Controlling the frequency and number of childbirths has contributed immensely to improvement in women's health, and subsequently to the health of their families.

 

Sure they can control their own bodies. They can do whatever they like to their own bodies. Piercings, tattoos, hair dye, tubal ligation, hysterectomy, not having sex. But that's not a uniquely female thing. Men can control their own bodies too.

Controlling your body is totally cool. controlling someone elses body, especially when that control equates to killingkilling, is not cool, and also not unique to women. Men can control other peoples bodies by killing them too. In fact men used to be able to control and kill women quite legally once upon a time. Interesting isn't it. Luckily now its illegal.

Women were once the dehumanised property of men and now children are the dehumanized property of women. Seems like women are trying to get their revenge...but on the wrong people.

 

Controlling your body would include controlling who and what is allowed inside it. Children are not dehumanized, nor are they the "property" of women. Zefs are not "children" nor "people", but they are "human" (adjective).

 

I have always found that the men who tend to be Anti-Abortion Activists do have a deep seated need to control women.

I have never thought of women in any matter that required CONTROL....unless it was a Playful Sexual thing.

After all...wht kind of man...little m.....has a need to control Women?

I am just guessing here but I think a Small Penis might have a lot to do with their issues.
