This New York Times article describes the differing responses of men and women to the same degree of bicycling safety. In so doing, it provides yet more evidence of what the natural differences between the male and female genders (which are not always synonymous with the respective sexes!) entail.

Bottom line: women overall respond to the same level of danger by playing it safe, whereas men do not tend to feel so inhibited. Femme people, in other words, are less inclined toward risky behavior. Perhaps this is one more evidence as to why women live longer than men in nearly every country (except where they are severely persecuted).

It's also why men have created all the great civilizations throughout history, fought most of the wars, and done the lion's share of the grunt work since the inception of the species. You take the bad with the good.

it is only logical, especially if you believe in evolution at all.

not evolution but rather Creationism. The Creation of life that belongs to the woman...i am not demeaning the part man plays in this. Woman is suited for the long haul of that nine months and the nurturing after that. Man's role is the protection of his woman, children and home.

It's evolution that we can credit with the number of unborn deaths by abortion. And the man that supports that is but a shadow of what man was created to be.
