I have a good friend who is close to 100 years old. His mind seems as sharp to me as it was in the 1990's. I had picked him to take over my client base and took him out on appraisals. He decided my range was far too large and turned me down. I thought this fine war story from him was worth repeating to the forum. He served in WW2 as a Naval officer and rose to Commander then retired. If my mind is as sharp as his is at age 98, I shall be truly blessed. Al's story as sent to me.
