    Correct.

All gun-control laws infringe on our 2nd Amendment rights.

I think the background check is a good thing. Convicted felons shouldn't be able to buy guns, or vote.

When a convicted felon is caught with a gun it should be an automatic 30 years hard time.

    That's not how thelaw works.

He's not going to be charged for one crime. He's going to be charged for each gun violation. That's over 500 charges.

I can make you more than that. I'm not just talking about a pipe shotgun with a nail for a firing pin, though that would be the simplest choice.

Yeah but U235 isn't exactly laying around all over the place in nature, to say nothing of the armed guards on known supplies.
Metal sufficient to make a gun, is. So is plastic. FFS you can make an ar receiver from WOOD (won't last that long but it'll last long enough to take a better gun). 3d printers further invalidate the prohibition and I'm right now only talking the plastic ones. The metal ones make it laughable, and in 5 years when they're buy it yourself cheap like the plastic printers are now, I'll print one every time one of you on here says prohibition of firearms is effective and take a picture with it.

The article from Danny is a blog from a free lance journalist - not MSM and is from 2002!

And how does your link here give support to anything you have written? Only fools think that by passing laws to reduce number of guns will magically remove all illegal guns in one second. Are you a fool? And I repeat "The more guns out there, the cheaper they will be on the black market" Compare the price of a black market gun in UK or Australia with that of a gun in US where they can be bought for a handful of dollars with no paperwork required

If none of those guns were used to rob, rape or murder, then the guns weren't used in any crime.

A felon in possession of a firearm is a stupid law, because the felon can use just about any inanimate object to commit a crime like a 2x4 or a sledge hammer, but he's not prohibited from purchasing or being in possession of either of those two inanimate objects.

The law doesn't distinguish if he received one shipment of 500 guns or received 500 individual shipments. He's still going to rack up over 500+ gun charges against him.

So again, the gun laws failed over 500 times.

    Do you understand now?

You still don't get it. "Not Allow" means nothing. This guy was "not allowed" to own any guns and he has 550.
And what does gun verification mean?

Gun bans and other strict gun control laws encourage more crime including gun crime.
Governments that enact laws to disarm the people will eventually create an underground arms manufacturing and smuggling industry.

Once a criminal serves his time, they should ABSOLUTELY have their rights restored. Why do we make a mistake a life punishment?

But the felon can legally still purchase and possess a 2x4, kitchen knife, sledge hammer, baseball bat, rope, etc. to commit his crimes.

Well, yes, if you have the knowhow and skills, you can do mass murder on $35, maybe less on a good sale at the strip mall.

Youtube has taken down the video showing how to make a Sten gun. Pointless censorship.

A person killed 84 people and injured hundreds more by running them over with a rented box truck in Nice, France.

A person killed 19 people and injured 26 others with a knife in Japan.

Yup. U-haul or Home Depot will rent a full-sized work van or truck pretty cheap for a half day. But I would think they are pretty careful now and look upon every potential customer with suspicion until they can pass muster -- which is just how it should be.

Curious to what the prequal's are for renting a Box truck? Back ground check? Credit check?

Nope, a drivers license, insurance and cash will get a super sized deluxe pedestrian ramming machine.

ETA: Hey, at least I need to show ID to get some allergy medicine!

Irrelevant. The law had no deterring effect in the more than five hundred times it was willfully violated. Had law enforcement not received a random tip about what was going on, no one would have been the wiser, despite the significant paperwork requirements in place in the state of California.

Except for the fact that such is not the case in the state of California, where every single firearms transfer is required to go through a background check. There is not so much as one single exception to this requirement recognized by the state, not even between family members. Legally there was no way for this convicted felon to acquire even a single firearm, let alone more than five hundred.

You repeating this nonsense in every gun thread still doesn't make it true.

The arrest means nothing if he is not tried, found guilty, and sentenced for the offenses that were committed.

This matter will be watched. And if the individual in question is not convicted on numerous charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm, then the laws in question do not actually work.

So, if I understand you correctly, you are saying that felons should be able to buy guns legally. Do you bekieve there should be any restriction on mentally ill people?
