At What point do you find murder morally acceptable? Not the law just you personally. Point is not to judge anyone just curious.
I will bite. Never, not morally. Ethically it could still be acceptable if taking the life will save another life. If it is about anything dealing with your personal perception of reality it would not be ethical, it would have to be a situation where someone could only live if another was murdered. But what constitutes murder? Is taking a brain dead body off life support murder? Is letting someone die that you could help murder? Is killing someone legally as compensation for their actions (say a murderer or a horse thief) murder? Is the abortion of a six week old fetus murder? So, your question only raises more questions.....
Ok I get your point. I'll try to make the question more clear. Killing to save another is not murder to me. You may have a different view. What would it take for you ( not you personally, anyone reading this) to kill? Not self defense, but to kill for another reason. Example, You drank my last beer your dead, or you raped and tortured my 6 month old child your dead. Maybe a reason in between the two examples.
Unfortunately I might kill anyone. If someone pushed me to the point of anger that I lost control of rational thinking. Or if they made me so frightened that my life seemed like a living H. They just might die. That doesn't mean that I would think it was Ok morally or ethically. But I am human and I can snap. Sorry I am not helping your thread here, but murder is a big thing, and I would really worry about a person looking for an excuse to commit it.
I'm not looking for an excuse to commit murder. Just curious. I also believe that any one could be pushed that far. If I was considering murdering some one I defiantly would not post it on the net. Hope I don't get the urge anytime soon now that I posted this. lol
Murder is a legal term...so I want to be clear if you are asking about killing or violation of a societal law?
