N.Y. farm will no longer host weddings rather than allow same-sex ceremonies

I was unaware that baking a cake involved having sex with the couple you were baking the cake for.

Being that some people interpret the bible to mean having sex with the same sex to be a sin, I can't imagine what somebody would find sinful about doing commerce with others.

Sorry, selling a cake doesn't involve you on an event.

I know you are trying to twist it into that so you can say this action was justified, but people aren't that stupid.

 

Laws and morality are not always connected to each other. For example, prostitution is legal in Nevada. What I'm basically saying is this-just because the gay couple had the legal right to sue the baker, it doesnt mean it was the morally correct decision for them to make. I'm also saying that whether or not his decision was legally considered discrimination doesnt mean it was wrong/immoral for him to do.

Had you any idea of the amount of time I, and others, have spent trying to help this particular poster come to terms with how debating works (nearly a year) then you would understand that everyone has limits . .with this particular poster mine has been reached.

Demanding equality is so militant

 

Actually, it is usually militant, because equality isn't something anyone gives you just because the US Constitution guarantees it. It's something everyone must fight for, and often fight to retain. The law provides you the necessary ordnance, but if you don't get out there and use it, you'll win no equality.
