    An overwhelming number of Democrats do not want President Joe Biden to run for reelection in 2024, a New York Times/Siena College poll found.

    More than half of his own party — 64% — said they would prefer someone else lead the national ticket in the next presidential election, the Times reported Monday.

    The survey results came two days after the Times chief White House correspondent, Peter Baker, wrote that Biden's age, 79, had become "an uncomfortable issue for him, his team, and his party."

    Times/Siena poll results also showed that only 33% of overall voters approve of the job Biden is doing, and only 13% said the country was on the right track — the lowest point in Times polling since the financial crisis more than 10 years ago.

    More than two-thirds of independents said they disapprove of the president's performance, with nearly half disapproving strongly, the Times/Siena poll found.…

    You forget that more people wanted Biden then Turmp. So Trump is a non-starter

    If the right wants the presidency back their only chance right now is DeSantis.

    The dems dont currently have a strong candidate that could beat DeSantis

    You get what you voted for. Candidate Biden hid in his basement. Candidate Biden stumbled over his words. President Biden has defined mental deficiencies that makes him unsuitable for the job. VP Harris is unsuitable to hold any office. Elections have consequences. Especially when people get their itty bitty feelings hurt and vote for a total idiot who has done nothing in his life. And if you want to argue my last point, tell me what Joe Biden has done that has helped you as a citizen of these United States while he has been a life long politician because he obviously couldn't do anything else.

    And I guarantee if the same election was held tomorrow, Trump would win. And that is not to say I want Trump to return as President, because I don't.

    Biden will run again. There will be no doubt that his need to continue to represent his crime family cannot be stalled because of some shaky poll numbers today...

    The polls I saw had Trump with a slight lead over Desantis. I like Desantis and would support him, but I think he likes what he's accomplishing in Florida and won't want to give it up for the DC swamp.

    There is no way this guy got 81,000,000 votes because if he did democrats wouldn’t openly be regretting voting for him.

    Given that so many democrats have participated in the republican primaries, do we suppose that republicans should participate widely in the democratic primaries to ensure that Brandon is on their ticket?

    Sure dems do not want folks to see how bad they cheated in 2020. If dems can't cheat in 2024 like they did in 2020 Biden will not get anywhere near the votes.

    (1) I suspect there were more votes against Trump than for Biden
    (2) Is it so difficult to imagine voting for a candidate then being disappointed with their performance? Your argument only makes sense in a hyper-partisan world where you always support your side.
