That won't make him very popular in NATO HQ? [IMG]

    "Britain About To Be Betrayed"

    Indeed we are.

"Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn says NATO’s current policies of adding more troops in eastern Europe is only increasing tensions, and has proposed a demilitarized buffer zone on the alliance’s border with Russia."

That's the only intelligent thing he has said since taking over the Labour party, but it is so right. Let's hope the sentiments in both of those statements catch on; that the warmongers will be silenced, and wiser heads will prevail??

Or some are waking up and see that they blame Russia for things which did the USA in the past often and where rest of NATO (and EU) played the "3 monkeys" about or even made together with USA ...

What was again in Spring 2003 the case in a special ME country?
Let have done this or something comparing by Russia and you know what NATO reaction would have been

Russia will always be the enemy of the enemy of the West and of every decent group of people. Russia has been an enemy of the West since at least the 16 th century. Russia is an enemy in many way be it military, economic, political, or social. Anyone with even rudimentary knowledge of history will know that Russia has always been, is, and always shall be the enemy of the world.

I really hope that you and the member "Destroyer of Illusion" will get in touch here about. This will be a funny comedy to read of you both! :roflol:

BTW ... pure historically you are utterly wrong and this I tell you as someone how has a master in history! Look only, as one example, with whom Russia was allied fought together wars against whom during the last 400 years and by whom all it was attacked!

Corbyn should probably talk to some Eastern European leaders before talking off his mouth. The Brits seem to be living under illusions of grandeur.

True, it's difficult giving up the position you have held for decades as a dominant world power, and the US is having the very same problem.

This is where actually researching what you think you know would have helped you. Instead you look like a fool for thinking that Sweden is in NATO.

So much information at your finger tips and yet so far away from your mind. Welcome to the 21st century.

Russia has no need to attack and defeat NATO or Europe.
Look at the news, Europe is tearing itself apart.
Putin only has to sit back, watch then go in and pick up the pieces he wants.

You posted the comment as a reply to a UK leader wanting to demilitarise Russian NATO neighbours... Who do you think you are kidding?
    Instead of being a man who admits a mistake you try to pretend you didn't make one... I'll tell you in simple Trump vocabulary so you might understand it;

    "Sad"

    More than that,

    The mongols
    Crusades
    Ottomans
    The Coalitions
    WW1
    WW2

Russia has been allied with "The West" for longer than we have been enemies.

If anything they have been a rival, between "the great game" and "the Cold War"

But saying enemy is a stupid term.

Keep the NATO troops on the border and work on relations with Russia. Hopefully we can take back troops as our relationship builds

Well... You seem to forget the Crimean war.
What crusades were the Russians part of or against?
Tsuke seems to think the Russians fought the crusaders while you seem to think they were part of them?

Meh, depends on if you count mercenaries

There were tons of Russians and Eastern Slavs in the Byzantine court. The Varangians as a start. So technically Tsuke and I are both correct.

The ... fourth? (I think) crusade was the disaster where they sacked the Byzantines capital. So they were against the crusaders there

The Crimean War was part of "The Great Game" that I listed and barley even noticeable. It was basically a 3 year war where everyone was scrambling to grab Ottomom "stuff".

The Allies against Russia did it for fear of them taking Constantinople in pretty sure, have to go check my history real quick....

The Varangians were vikings... Unless you actually think those people are in any way connected to Russians today?
Even then... They were the private guard of the emperor. Not actual troops.

No... That is a spurious attempt to justify that they fought the crusaders.

Barely even noticeable? The Crimean war? You clearly didn't read history.
    Nice try... Epic fail.

I think a little bit, but politicians can do it to prevent Union of Russia with China.

Corbyn is probably the stupidest politician I know of, including trump. Good thing he will never have any real power in the UK.
