Nearly all NY coronavirus patients suffered underlying health issue, study finds

"Health records from 5,700 patients hospitalized within the Northwell Health system -- which housed the most patients in the country throughout the pandemic -- showed that 94 percent of patients had more than one disease other than COVID-19, according to the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA)."

None of this is surprising, but concrete facts are always nice. This also helps reinforce what we've been hearing about how the people most adversely effected by coronavirus are almost always older and/or with pre-existing conditions, while the risk of death for the average younger or middle-aged American is virtually zero without pre-existing conditions.

Driven by one party for purely partisan political reasons, the other party was forced to buckle.

The solution?

Open 'er up & never vote Democrat again.

 

I bet a random sampling of people over 40 would yield similar results.

 

No, no surprises. But it's a good reminder, in the face of the shower of doom and gloom folks are being bombarded with via the mainstream media. It's good information for the folks who are genuinely terrified of coronavirus, too.

 

Brilliant. Almost no elderly people die at age 40!
