Calls for prayer annoy me, as they're ineffective anyway. Why bother? How about people actually do something instead of sitting around thinking about it and talking to an imaginary parental figure in the sky, pretending that that's making a difference?

This old fashioned liberal is delighted to meet any other. Hope you have a strong constitution, though.

    Wonderful, and Welcome.

    Just one question.
Does the wusification of America bother you at all ? Examples may compound the "one" question.
To promote the feminist and liberal agenda we witness
    1) Little Boys who behave like Little Boys get medicated.
    2) White heterosexual males are to be shunned because, they had their chance for ages.
    3) Hillary uber alles - - regardless (tell me it ain't so)
    AND, never consider
    4) An armed public, concealed or open, is the best defense against Isla Vista massacres.
Gun owners I know are responsible and would only take the shot if "safe" and "effective".
Make the crime the discharge of a fire arm, not the possession.

Another Lib Fem or Fem Lib ? ?
Hope to see you on the board,
with larger fonts for us :oldman:

I like your usage of 'wusification' with the compounding examples.

I don't really know how to reply to your statement in succession with your format, so here goes my best shot in regards to what my views are.

I do think our children are a little over medicated (for those mothers who do not bother to discipline their children), and I think that a large sum of the adults in our society are to blame for the 'troubled youth'. So it's not a 'boys will be boys' thing to me, it's more so a contraception-is-the-answer, or we need a parental screening process ending in sterilization for those who fail (Joking! Joking! Although it would solve problems). HAHA.

I do not quite understand the whole white heterosexual men should be shunned? Call me stupid, but I feel like I need clarification on why they are being shunned. My guess would be the workforce/equality stand point everyone has been speaking of as of late. In regards to this issue, I don't really, well, care personally. I'm not worried about anything that co-workers make and I feel like it should not matter, especially when it comes to the sex of the employee. I feel like, yes, once found it is unfair. Ultimately though, it is at the discretion of your employer, whom you choose to work for. I currently work in one of the largest corporations in the world. We have a very diverse group of employees. I also recently found that I am the least paid in my department. I feel like I am reasonably paid for what I bring to my team and I am pleased with it. Whose to say the next attack would not be on newer employees? How would you feel if a 'greener' employee than yourselve was paid more starting out than you? That's the whole point of the regulations within the work place of not discussing your pay with another. You don't know that person. You don't know their experience and their education used to get that pay. So, I am over that argument already lol.

    Gun control?

I am going to quote myself from another thread here:
Regardless as I have now gone on and on and all you wanted was a simple answer to one simple question.
How do I feel about the wusification of America? I think it's digging us into a hole so deep it's ignorant.
I do not understand how our rights have become so dismantled and, well frankly just abused by our citizens. It's almost as if they are being used as an excuse these days.

Am I a Dem Fem? Yes I am. A feminist? I have had no issues of inequality, except racially (and I am caucasian to kill stereotypical jerks right there)and I personally think that feminism has also gone way too far in certain aspects.

I hope I answered your question correctly? LOL

    Oh So Moderate.

What about Hillary uber alles? Isn't 16 years of brain damaged Presidents enough ?
Or a responsibly armed person at Isla Vista able to take out the shooter with a responsible shot?

Wusification? Most certainly. No "Buck Stops Here" ala Truman.
Too much consensus and not enough leadership.
    And it's the fault of
    "Girlie Power" don'tchyaknow? Agree?
Of course Girlie Power with "Gay - Lesbian Alliances" aids <me bad> the wusification process.
Wusification ! Seems so clear to me. But, I am an :oldman: and remember the before time.

Louisville, Kentucky. (Loretto to be precise) Home of a very fine Kentucky straight bourbon, Maker's Mark. Before folks think this is a misplaced post, the OPs locale is Louisville, therefore the comment. I've toured the distillery, would recommend for any connoisseurs.

    Yep.

Along with the many other fine distilleries around the same area. Love Kentucky. The horses, the hills, the bourbon and the college sports, it's all just amazing.

Eh, as far as Hillary goes - yes the wussification factor is there. However, with the intelligence level of the Republican opposition is much more terrifying for me. She may not be the best but she would sure has hell be the lesser of two evils (especially if Romney runs again - talk about brain damaged). Let's see who all really runs and is going for it. Then we can talk candidacy.

A responsibly armed person halting that tragedy? HELL YES. If someone could have stopped the man by responsibly firing their weapon? Yes. Yes. Yes. Why more people are not for protection and protection rights, I will never understand. Quit trying to regulate our weapons and instead regulate the idiots who abuse this right and those who are a danger to our citizens and families. Those are the ones who need stronger regulations, not the common, responsible public.

Actually some of us are discussing options.

    http://www.politicalforum.com/polit...urrencies-finance-films-address-problems.html

New Age Communities can print local currencies finance films that address problems?!

At this time I tend to believe that New Age Groups may be the most likely to successfully initiate local currencies and use them to finance film projects in which homeless people could become actors playing the role of homeless people.... .which could easily finance their buying or renting homes????!!!!

Lesser of two evils is RepubloCratic thinking they want you to have to perpetuate the corporationist policies, foreign and economic.
No Lesser of Two Evil. Among RepubloCrats there is no lesser although those on the Democratic wing lie more about economic policy.
Vote Third Party ! Make a noise rejecting the one behaving as two party system.

Oh so few of us who support a responsibly armed public.

BTW you have not said anything about :flagcanada: That's the way they like it, y'know.

I am glad you are here.

Look forward to exchanges on the Real Political Board.

May I ask the meaning behind the H-Bomb avatar? Are you a doomsdayer? You know, a prepper for the end times. I wouldn't think a female would use such a violent theme. Flowers and unicorns perhaps, but not a mushroom cloud.

Lol. I am not your typical female.

I fill my life completely with the study of politics.
In what spare time I do have, I'm a very strange artist (I'll have to show you some sometime) and I prefer things a little more than 'dark', if you would.

    I am not a doomsdayer.
I simply find a beauty in that cloud, a story in it, that most do not.

    Politically, could be offensive yes.
Do I use it politically? No. It's simply art when I see my avatar lol.

You probably will not ever see unicorns from me. HAH.
