Good grief, they are a fake news generator. Even going with a story that fracking is a scam. upload_2018-9-10_15-12-32.gif

If you don't like the message, attack the messenger............ a tactic the trumpettes have refined almost to perfection.

I don't supposed you actually have ever read the New York Times.

If you did, you'd know that they never print letters signed anonymous, except in the most extreme circumstances. For the record, real newspapers NEVER print anonymous letters. So this had to be an extreme circumstance.

And, once again, as with so many right wing rants, the headline doesn't match the story.

The meme, which you fell for, is that the Times has a history of falsely elevating senior administration officials it quotes.

But the article does not support that claim at all.

Instead, it cites one story about an industry (not government or any Administration). Of course, it names no names, and does not link the article it criticizes.

Which makes it clear that this guy was sent on a search, and this is all he could come up with.

The holes in this attempt at discrediting are obvious. But you didn't read past the headline, which is what they were counting on!

A 2011 article drug up, and the analyst was never mentioned as a senior analyst or in any intentional way to make him look like two people. There were multiple senior officials and senior analysts quoted.

When you have to reach this far back to make a weak and deceptive argument you already lost.

    Yes, it does!

Still, the Republicans should try it some of the time! Just for a change....

The truth is gonna hurt like a rampaging SOB if it turns out to be John Kelly.... He seems to be the only "senior" nutjob who hasn't issued a denial...

Didn't sound like him when I first read it, but I'm rethinking... sort of seems to be obvious. The only question I would have is who are the others, who would work with Kelly on this?? Doesn't seem to be a safe position to be in...

You realize that all you've done is prove that Dems lie too, not that the Repubs don't lie, right?

Well, when the author comes out eventually, I'm sure there will be a rash of posts to determine if that person is a "senior" official...

Will be an interesting reveal... if Trump were smart, he'd figure out some way to televise it and make more illegal emoluments on it.....

Thanks for confirming that the NYT is not a real newspaper. It was the only intelligent comment I could find in your post.

The New York Times and the Washington Post are two of the few remaining real newspapers in the country. That being said, they aren't perfect.

They are, however, many orders of magnitude more accurate and functional than trash like the NY Post, just to name an example.
