WHAT BETTER reason does anyone need to understand why scams like the Socialist Security Ponzi Scheme and medicare are totally immoral?

Why should a victim of lifetime long child abuse be required to subsidize their abuser's retirement and medical care?

    Agreed

But you what has blown me away? All these responses, mostly from Americans, not a few blaming "todays culture/parents" and not one mentioning the Johnny Cash song "A Boy Named Sue" lol!!

    Is Johnny forgotten??

Oh gawd.... that's criminal, despicable....totally unconscionable. And people like that breed like rabbits.......

I tho't all states allowed a name change when the person turned 18. They should........

I remember listening to the story of the boy named Donald Duck on Paul Harvey. After yrs of being bullied, ridiculed, always hearing "Quack! Quack!" when kids would see him coming, he committed suicide.

Wonder how his parents felt when they buried their son that they tho't would be funny to name 'Donald Duck'?

I feel the same way, but OTOH, someone needs to step in in defense of these children being burdened w/a name that will guarantee only misery and unhappiness for them.....

Before that name is put on the birth certificate, a counselor needs to at least try to wake the idiot parents up......

I sure agree w/the "Shaliqua" type of names.... it's getting ridiculous. People don't know how to pronounce the name, can't figure out how to spell it.....it's stupid.

Does this mean I can't name one of my kids Delain Sleepwalkers Dream? ;)

Years ago I read the birth notices in the paper. Parents had called their kid Harley - and their last name? Davidson, of course. Little Harley was a brother to Mercedes, Suzuki, and Kowasaki, - who were all girls, by the way.

Celebrity names are the worst...Pilot Inspektor, Audio Science, and the guy from Numbers, whose name is Rob Morrow, called his little boy Tu - get it?

    Makes you wonder.

    No, I'm sure he didn't.....

I had read a funny story about a dude who joined the Army. A drill sergeant was laying down the law to the new recruits, also telling them he would only address them by their last name... none of this Tom, Ben, Mike nonsense.... last name only.

So he went thru the line, asking each what their last name was...

"Hanson, sir!".... Williams, sir!"...."Meyers, sir!".... "Darling, sir!"

He told Darling he'd be addressing him by his first name of Joe.

I knew a guy who had the last name of Darling. I like it. One day I told him I wanted his last name.... dumb thing to say. He told me I could have it if I married him.... lol...

Many people have gone by their middle name. My x had all his life.

What I'd never liked was naming a boy after his father and the boy was called "Little 'George'" for most of his life.... give the kid a nickname.

While in the womb they are officially 'foetuses'; baby is normally reserved for post-birth.

Ya, if it eats, has a heart beat, brain waves, and etc, it's just as alive, as it would be outside the womb.

Thanks captain obvious. But by week six, a baby has a heartbeat and brain wave activity, and by week 21 the baby is digesting nutrients from what the mother eats thru the umbilical cord.

    Ya, it's a living being.

but not separate and not independently viable - which a baby is but a foetus is not

These days, I really think that a lot of parents have no brains....they should have an IQ test
before having sex with anyone....if they fail...then no sex and no kids....unless you want to
keep having kids with morons as parents.....

I have personally heard a Black mother in public call out to her little daughter "Shabambam, get over here!"
Another little black girl was named "Nigress". I did not believe it the first time, but then the mother used the name again to address her daughter.
I am not making this up.

Always the flawed argument. Relying on geography rather than development. By your logic, a 7 month old delivered prematurely is a baby, but a 9 month old 5 minutes from birth is not. Herp derp.

Probably the same thing that's wrong with Hitler. Regardless of what it means, you judge a tree by the fruit it bears.

Which is kind of irrelevant because they are still "poeple."

So what? Plenty of older people rely on medical equipment to survive as well. They're not independently viable either. So what's your point?
