I used to support the NRA, and I carry a gun with a permit. But I don't support giving guns to criminals and crazies when it could be prevented, and neither do most NRA members.

The first and ONLY sitting speaker of the House to be thrown out - Tom Foley - (D) Washington state - gun control in America is a losing issue, not a "winning" issue. Clinton narrowly avoided being thrown out simply because the power of incumbency as president.

People don't want gun control - they want criminal justice. How many repeat felons are wandering the streets to prey on the population at large? Way, way too many!
