The NYPD arrested more than 100 protesters at New York University, including students and faculty, on Monday night and cleared out a campus encampment set up earlier by anti-Israel demonstrators.

Cops in riot gear cuffed the protesters — who are demanding NYU divest from holdings tied to Israel over the ongoing violence in Gaza — with zip ties and led them to police buses, the university’s student-run newspaper Washington Square News reported.

NYU faculty members linked arms and stood side by side to form a human barrier between a swarm of cops and student protesters, according to a video shared by a City reporter. The professors were the first to be arrested.

I thought we took care of the Nazi problem in ww2? Yet here we have anti Jewish whackos stabbing Jews in the eye with flag poles and requiring police to arrest them to get them to comply to society standards. Our ww2 vets are rolling in their graves. Where did all these whackos come from?

How does protesting what many feel is excessive and inhumane collateral damage to include the loss of children equate to the “Nazi problem in WW2?”

How does bullying, harassing, intimidating, and threatening innocent American Jews not equate to the "Nazi problem in WW2"?

Do you think protesting and making people's lives miserable will change the outcome regarding what's happening in Gaza? Did you notice how no one protested Russia when they invaded Ukraine?

Or how nobody protests when Syria or Saudi Arabia killed so many more Islamic terrorists and their supporters. It's only an issue when it is Jews.

Israel and the Gaza will keep on fighting regardless of how many protests happen. This might go on and on until there is an ultimate winner. There will be damage done and that's all there is.

Amazing how quickly the trash got picked up once wealthy donors began speaking about stopping their funding. Money talks.

As with all previous conflicts involving Israel in the ME, Israel will end hostilities when the U.S. puts direct pressure on Israel to stop, which is the reason for the protests, forcing Biden to take action

Directly, no, indirectly, possibly, the one fact about Israel is that anytime they were involved in direct conflict in the area pressure on them from the US to cease activities worked.

The US has exerted some nominal pressure, but also supplied weapons, if that “advice” changed, Israel would react. In addition, the protests are aimed at influencing decision makers, plus, the school’s financial affairs in regard to investments in Israel

For the doubters, there's a video at the link.

Anti-Israel protesters at NYU admit they have no idea what they’re protesting: ‘I wish I was more educated’

Two Columbia University students who rushed to join NYU’s violent anti-Israel rally are going viral after admitting they had no idea what the protest was about — and wished they were “more educated.”

The unidentified students rattled off their clueless rationale on the steps of the NYU campus in downtown Manhattan as a slew of NYPD cops clad in riot gear stood in the background, as seen in footage viewed more than 3 million times since being shared by former Mayor Rudy Giuliani late Wednesday.

“I think the main goal is just showing our support for Palestine and demanding that NYU stop … I honestly don’t know all of what NYU is doing,” one admitted when asked about the protest’s purpose.

Asked if there was “something NYU is doing,” the student meekly replied: “I really don’t know, I’m pretty sure they are…”

She then turned to her friend and asked, “Do you know what NYU is doing here?”

The friend, who was wearing a face mask, then bluntly asked: “About what?”

“About Israel. Why are we protesting, here at NYU specifically?” the student asked.

“I wish I was more educated,” her friend confessed.

"Two UNIDENTIFIED "Students"..." (One wearing a Mask)...
Has all of the stone cold credibility of an Exam Week Sorority Prank...
Either that, or a couple of out-of-work actresses trying to make a few bucks by staging a ridiculous exchange so there would be ridiculous red meat to go "viral" and feed the appetites of the easily fooled RW Noise Machine...
People exist who actually took those comedians seriously?

UW students postpone antisemitic encampment for having too many white saviors

Activists with the UW Progressive Student Union (UWPSU) announced they are postponing Thursday’s “UW Palestine encampment” because there were too many white students involved. The group received criticism for not including Muslim and Arab students in the organizing. And now you have warring factions of extremists quibbling over who will get credit for demonizing Jews and Israel.

All they need is the arm band and a little goose in their step. Where's Lt. Aldo Raine when you need him.

This is exactly what college is for, for opening kids eyes to the BS that occurs in the world. The #1 pile of BS is occurring in Gaza right now, with the slaughter of innocents. The direction to do this should come from the conscience of anyone who has one. Both parties in DC ar ecompletely in the wrong if they support the atrocities Israel is committing.

An no, wanting the slaughter of innocents to stop does not mean support for Hamas. Protecting innocents being killed in Gaza is FAR more important than killing anyone, however.

I have nothing but the greatest respect for those standing up for the downtrodden in Palestine, and college campuses are absolutely the place this should be occurring. There will be time for 'normal' education later. The inhumanity ocurring in the middle east is happening now, and needs to be addressed now.
