Nothing in my post was false. There is nothing African American in Obama's background other than his wife. By the time she married him his world view was already formed.

No. First of all his father wasn't African American. Secondly, Obama didn't know his father when he was growing up.

What started in 2007 with a slight grain of truth has been swept away by compulsive outright bald-faced lying. Obama's lawyer never made any statement even remotely close to the claims of the OP. It's simply lying on a grand scale now.

If I were to judge Obama by his words and deeds without ever having seen the man I would conclude he was a white European social democrat deeply guilty over European colonialism.

Barack Obama was raised as an American- for 15 of his 18 years of childhood he lived in the State of Hawaii, surrounded by Americans, going to school with Americans, taught by Americans, playing sports with Americans.

Some of them happened to be African Americans. I am not certain exactly what in your background makes you uniquely qualified to judge whether someone had a 'real African-American' background or not.

Personally, I don't have dark skin, or appear to be African American. So I am not arrogant enough to think that I would know what life was like as an African American growing up in Hawaii in the 60's and 70's, or what the experiences of someone identified as an African American at Occidental College in Calfornia.

There are facts and there are opinions. You presented some facts, and projected your opinion based upon those facts.

But the facts show that Barack Obama was raised as an American, by Americans, in America for the vast majority of his life. He is as American as I am, or Martin Luther King was.

I would say that the extreme American left and the extreme American right does think in roughly those terms. But most Americans don't. Most of the left have friends and family who are conservative, and vice versa. Most of us know that we are all Americans who have a slightly different view of how things should be done or how things should get done. Most of us get along just fine.
