Let's face the facts. Obama suckered America with his empty promises. Many people now realize he had NO INTENTION WHATSOEVER of being anything but the Chicago thug politician he is. He had NO INTENTION WHATSOEVER of addressing one of the biggest issues of the day: the deficit, which he promised to cut in half by now. His wasteful stimulus program did nothing but add to our debt. We all know he's a disaster. We elected a college academic with no clue as to how the real world operates. People are catching on and I am cautiously optimistic he will handily defeated in November.

That's very true in many ways. But R&R will put the tearing down of the govt. on steroids and that will be a disaster and cost jobs. I care ONLY about economic issues for average middle class workers, nothing else, Have gay marriage -or not, Ban abortion-or not, Waterboard people-or not...I don't care. Just have economic policies that PURPOSELY FAVOR the middle class over the rich, that's #1.

 

Tearing down the government? You mean like gutting Medicare to the tune of $716 billion? And seriously, you don't think Obamacare is costing jobs? How can it not? It has numerous provisions to increase costs (removing the lifetime cap, the tax increases are examples), creates more reporting requirements to the IRS for businesses, how can it not cost jobs?

As for the other issues, I tend to agree with you. Who gives a (*)(*)(*)(*) about abortion, gay marriage, waterboarding etc if our economy is destroyed. Romney and Ryan aren't going to gut anything. They're like Obama, talking a lot of (*)(*)(*)(*) to get elected. That said, they'll certainly be noticeably different from Obama. And I'll take noticeably different from Obama over four more years of Obamunism any day of the week.

I read an interesting article in a street newspaper I bought from a homeless guy this morning. The headline is Obamacare... the good and the bad. After discussing the ins & outs of health insurance and other issues homeless people don't really care about... it ended with the bad news that cuts to Medicaid & Medicare to finance Obamacare will be devastating to the homeless community. Instead of making things better for the downtrodden, Obamacare is actually robbing from them to give to the rich (rich as compared to homeless).

Even poor people know how bad Obama is. Hoping their sponsor (The Stewpot) will provide vans to make sure they get to the polls to vote for their own best interest... meaning Romney/Ryan.

 

Obama has nothing left to run on. He is playing to the lowest level of our society. Gov't assistance is all he knows and that is the main voting block of his party. He grew up that way, was educated that way and as a community organizer that is all he knows. Our country can't stand another 4 years.

 

It is all going to come down to the swing states..... each party has their own voter base secure.......there is a reason why both Obama ad Romney are hitting the swing states so hard.
