LOL, I haven't even worked out what this thread is about. I generally agree with you about enjoying chicks, but I do think that women have the right to object if they are being discriminated against because of their gender. There is one funny gender-oriented thing I have noticed, and it has more to do with younger females than older women. If a girl acts in a tomboy fashion, her father is always inordinately proud of that, and tells everyone about it. What's that about? Like does he want his 'little princess' to be a son, rather than a daughter? Any fathers of girls here can explain that?
not all fathers wish their daughters had been sons. few i'd say....they're just happy with the kid they got.
It's about having more in common with your daughter than just sharing genes. I know from experience that a dad appreciates a daughter that knows her way around an engine, plays and watches sports, and is generally a strong person. Other men will call these girls "feminazis," but dad is proud. Feminine women generally dislike this other type of woman No. And I am not a parent, just a strong daughter with similar interests as the average man.
OK you got me...Let's see...A Feminazi is a misguided female who thinks that men are out to subjugate her merely because they are of the male gender. They abhor child rearing and think that stay-at-home moms are victims of male dominance. The really radical ones do everything to NOT appear feminine and expect men to fawn over them anyway and, when men ignore them, they use it as an opportunity to claim sexual discrimination. Any man who merely alludes to a woman's feminine appeal is summarily labeled a 'chauvinist.' Feminists are women who think that being feminine is somehow better than being male and need support in order to support this attitude. They have mostly learned this as little girls in school. Feminism today is really a throwback to the sufferage movement when women were seen as chattel however, those days are long gone. Feminists usually drop the whole 'feminist' facade when they come upon a man whom they get to know and then realize that men and women are actually two opposite entities that fit together like pieces of a puzzle neither one expecting the other to to take on an opposite gender role. BECOME.....lesbians The problem with posting absolutes as a signature is that there are very few absolutes. Let's look at each of the above contentions. Do all feminists leave their husbands? Of course not. Is there a higher incidence of feminists leaving their husbands? Probably. Do they kill their babies? Probably at a greater rate than non-feminist women if you consider abortion to be the killing of babies. Do the practice witchcraft to a greater extent than other women? Probably. Not really witchcraft but feminist religions like Wycca that are associated with witchcraft by many people. Destroy capitalism? I doubt it. I would think feminist women would want to self sufficient and the best way to become self sufficient is through capitalism. Do they become lesbians? Probably not but the inverse is probably true in that more lesbians become feminists. The author of the signature line fails to differentiate between feminists and radical feminists. That is the same shortcoming as failing to differentiate between conservatives and anti=government militia members or libeals and anarchists.
Oh - OK! Cool - I think we agree on this one. Maybe, but to most people it is just a rather old-fashioned term for a girl who enjoys doing boyish things, like certain male-dominated sports, hunting, etc. I would not consider a girl any less hot for doing those things, but a mannish choice of clothes and appearance can sometimes be a turn off. Unless one is gay, why would one fancy a girl who looks a bit like a boy? But what I am really asking is why do fathers of 'tomboy' girls seem so proud of this attribute. I am sure that mothers of effeminate acting boys do not go around boasting about it. Why is a female acting in a masculine manner considered an advantage? Just curious.

Yes there is a difference between a Tom-Boy and a Butch-Girl. Actually 'back in the day' the term 'tomboy' was not meant to be flattering...at least to us kids and I don't remember parents being proud of their 'tomboy' girl.
