So there is a company, OldFaithful Holsters, that sells excellent CCW holsters. The sell three or four kits in varying stages of assembly. From fully assembled ($75) to build it yourself ($30). I decided to purchased the build it yourself, and am very pleased with the product. My holster is very comfortable and practically invisible if I wear a decently fitting bottom up short. They are available in both right and left hand.

The kit right out of the package, note the flat sheet of Kydex.

Make a cut out of your pistol (give an extra .5" around the gun), use heavy foam from like a sleeping mat. Put a beer cap under where the trigger guard will be (you need an indent to secure the pistol).

Heat the Kydex to 325F in a toaster oven.

Align the Kydex and place the pistol on the Kydex. Stand, sit, put some heavy object on the foam/board/foam//board sandwich.

Hold for five minutes, cut, trim, and attach.

Note how I cut the Kyrex in such a way that the safety is always on, how awesome is that?

There are plenty of threads for discussion of the 2nd Amendment. This thread is for concealment holsters.

oh well then this thread is in the wrong place because its in the "gun control" section. but since you brought us off topic. what do ya think? good idea? bad idea? i mean aren't you tired of being dragged back and forth on things that shouldn't have even still been an issue 20 years ago let alone every single dammed 4 year increment since?

Even the screw together one for 39.97 looks pretty sweet. I might have to try one.

I must say again, unbelievably comfortable.

I can carry it all day, drive, bike, whatever. Almost as if it wasn't even there.

I do not remember lecturing you on manliness.

I do remember lecturing you on your blatant ignorance regarding the issue.

I do not even own sandals.

Your ignorance and blatant stupidity is astounding.

Please do not troll my thread any further with your intellectual bankruptcy, the thread is in reference to constructing your own concealed carry holster. Not your pitiful and childish insults to compensate for your own inability to handle disagreements in a logical and thoughtful manner.

Do you have anything constructive to act? Or are you going to add another comment for me to dismiss?

Sandals don't work very well around the hot exhaust pies on my bike......most I own is a pair of flip-flops,and I'd never wear them riding, let alone with socks

    I'm a little confused...is this a cross-draw holster?

    And are you left-handed?

I am left handed, the holster can be used for cross draw, however I used it on my left side.
