Being Jewish, I am very sensitive to the history of anti-Semitism in this country. I do know that Breckinridge and FDR conspired to deny Jews asylum by cooking the books. They were responsible for millions of deaths. FDR also refused to allow the MS St Louis with 900 Jews on board from docking. 555 were killed by the Nazis when they were forced to return to Germany.

My grandfather came to the US at age 17 in 1913. He was successful enough that he could have brought his family, my Great Grandparents, Great Aunt and Great Uncle, here b4 they were murdered by the Nazis. I know what happened.

My first real job was in Lynchburg, VA, home of Jerry Falwell and Liberty Baptist. The religious right was never anything but gracious, though they wanted to save me.

I'm sure Socialists blame the internment of Japanese Americans on Republicans just like they project their part in the genocide of Jews on Republicans.

The religious right are generally nice people .. had plenty of Churching in my day .. baptized twice .. both Rabbi Hillel .. Famous Teacher of Jesus .. and Jesus .. as do did not condone political involvement on the basis of religious belief .. nor did Confucius or Buddha for that matter .. and that is my issue with the religious right .. Abortion being a prime example .

Well aware of the forced sterilization program in the US and Canada.. of the "genetically unfit" - before WWII .. anyone who was anyone in North America/Europe was on the Eugenic bandwagon... was hugely popular ideology .. especially among the elite .. the ideology justifying existing power structure and hierarchy in society. Hitler did not just pop up out of a vaccum .. he - like Trump in many ways - was a symptom of the times.

When the masses become complacent - and opportunity for increased power due to this complacency arises .. someone is going to take it - take advantage of it .. "Sucker born every minute"

Are seeing the same thing .. right here - right now. Look at the way the "Hierarchy" is taking advantage of Covid .. using propaganda to its full extent .. Read the other day that 70% of the sheep now favor a vax mandate.. for a Vax that has now been proven not to prevent transmission - on the basis that the unvaxed are some risk of harm over that of the vaxed.

When you take a certain group "the unvaxed in this case" and demonize them with lies and propaganda - It works. How is the mandate any different than making some group wear a yellow star .. taking their livelihoods away - demonizing them.. this is exactly what that is ..
