well that is two of us that want to know what he will be watching for.

 

I assume he's gonna be waiting for me to contradict myself...

I hate that I'm gonna disappoint him...

 

Maybe he is referring to watching Ellen's show...lol...j/k

My opinion about this is that I don't know why they are upset about it. It's not like she is pressing anyone about heterosexuality (at least not that I know of) or trying to push her homosexuality (once again at least not that I know of...I don't really follow Ellen).

I just think this is a desperate attempt of One Million Moms to get more recognition to their organisation.

Agreed, but I think it's fine they object. Gives JCP some much-needed free publicity. Have you heard about their store re-vamping? It should be interesting... hear they're doing it like a bunch of smaller shops under one roof. I hope JCP survives. So many department stores are hurting these days... if more go under, it just means more business for Walmart.

 

Yeah I haven't really heard about the revamping...I haven't been into a JCP since I was a kid lol. I don't do much shopping, but I agree...I hope JCP hangs in there.

 

They have an obnoxious commercial about their 'new stores' running every 5 min around here. No mention of Ellen, though.

It's funny... dept stores usually pick celebs who are known for their style -- Ellen's never been what I'd call a 'fashion plate'. Maybe they just chose her because she's fun. I do love to watch her dance.

This is not that liberal organization of Million Moms March is it? What were those fools in washington DC for a number of years ago?

I was under the impression this was a million moms who have some kind of christian principles or at the very least don't want to see their daughters exposed to degeneres and her more aggressive peers.

 

I am so glad that there is a group of women out there fighting for what is truly right in this world. I am so glad that, instead of fostering their child's education and teaching them to work with all types of people, they are teaching them to shield themselves and to be completely oblivious to the world around them. How dare a gay woman sport the clothes of an American name-brand. This is America (*)(*)(*)(*) it, you have the right to freely express yourself so long as you do not rile up the Christian moms.

 

Doesn't really matter to me which side of the fence they're on. JCP is a private company and can do whatever the hell it wants. Anybody who doesn't like it is welcome to boycott their store.

Why should anyone care if she's gay or not? It's not hurting them, their children, or anyone else for that matter.
