This man tells it like it is when it comes to open carry. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7R9qjQ-FswQ
We've been telling those OCT guys for years now to knock it off. While I do enjoy seeing you agree with us, finally, you are a little late to the game. Glad you could make it.
handguns are a weapon of personal security/defense. AR-15 and AK-47 is a weapon of war. why bring a weapon of war to Walmart or Toys R Us?
because in some areas t is legal. Since the 2nd A doesn't prohibit it, then the fuss is on the people who suffer from gun paranoia
just because something is technically legal, doesn't mean you should do it. its legal for women to walk around topless in NYC, do you recommend young ladies do that at night?
such an extremist position and accompanied by some strawman. WE are talking about guns, not titties. Go start another thread on that someplace else. If we don't practice and maintain our Rights, we will lose them.
Because Texas law does not allow it's citizens to bring a weapon of self defense to Walmart or Toys R Us without infringing on our rights by requiring background checks and paying fees to the state. Besides, Walmart and Toys R Us can tell them to leave with their private property rights that trump the gun rights of others on their property. Walmart and Toys R Us can ban the carrying of guns on their premises with a simple sign. They choose to not do so because gun owners will shop elsewhere and the sign won't stop criminals.
If the AR-15 and semi-automatic WASR-10 is a "weapon of war", why do militaries choose to adopt firearms other than civilians firearms? LOL Someone open carrying an M9 is closer to carrying a weapon of war than someone carrying an AR-15. - - - Updated - - - That being said, open carry is retarded.
Ayuh,.... While females topless maybe legal in NYC,.... Carrin' a Gun is Not,.... open carry, or otherwise,....
This editorial from some guys in Washington State make the argument for open carry: http://www.patrickhenrysociety.com/washington-state-gun-rights-fight-fight/ Why the Washington State Gun Rights Fight is YOUR Fight On the video in post #1, I have mixed thoughts. The video guy says at the beginning that open carry is good for normalization of the public. I have friends in an open carry state who, with their gun club, have a monthly "open carry in the city" day in which a lot of people in the club get together and go shopping in the city (an increasingly liberal city in a conservative state). They carry all sorts of firearms including AR's, its a family activity in which men, women, and children participate, they shop and eat lunch generally as a group. When they first started some years ago, they attracted attention from the press and cops, and people like the video guy complained that they were scaring people and giving gun rights a bad name and should stop. But the gun club was polite, were well behaved, kept their firearms safe, and by month 3 nobody cared about their day in the city - the city had been acclimated to people carrying firearms in public. The gun banners are on a crusade to make people afraid of guns - the banners lost the data war, the facts are not on their side, they failed in their attempts to control guns after Newtown, and so they are trying to change the culture through an emotional PR campaign. People need exposure to firearms, and that means open carry. Some people will get worked up over seeing firearms in public, but when the see nothing happens, the gun doesn't jump up and start shooting randomly, they will get over it - and realize the gun banners are lying when they claim guns are inherently evil.
