Puff Daddy shouts "black power" at the All Star Game in Orlando, Florida, after announcing his new television station "Revolt TV", thanks in large part to the Weinstein brothers. This comes after large crowds of black youths inundated Orlando Nike stores to such a degree the local SWAT team had to be called.

How can blacks get away with having pride in their race? Whenever a white person says "white power", they are instantly branded a racist/nazi/bigot/xenophobe/hater.

Meanwhile, in Orlando, "youth mobs" draw police attention due to the release of new sneakers:

Is this the brown, "diverse" America we are all supposed to be celebrating?

Moreover, why can't I say "white power"?

I wouldn't get too upset over what some idiot says. It's all show biz.

You prove my point: NOBODY CARES.

If a white celebrity had stood up and shouted White Pride at that event, the media, government officials, and virtually every Jewish "civil rights" organization in the country would smear and denounce that celebrity.

Google "P Diddy shouts "black power" and NOT A SINGLE MAJOR NEWS SOURCE has picked up on this story.

    Hmmm.

Were whites in this country historically underrepresented both economically and politically?

    Your comparison is not valid.

If a MAINSTREAM white celebrity did that, there could some reaction.

But if someone who was a white equivalent of Puff Daddy did it, like Eminem, no one cares.

    FAIL! Try harder.

White power has a far different connotation than Black power does in society.

Society has defined them differently over the years. Black power typically has meant unity and solidarity in order to gain equal rights and fair treatment while white power has been associated with keeping the white race higher than all the others.

I don't agree, not at all. I think Eminem shouting 'white power' would create a nationwide media circus.

It would be racist criticizing him, didn't you know.

My point is that the American experience is very different for whites and blacks, with one group having essentially been in power since the inception of this country, with one group far more wealthy than the other.

In other words, you are comparing two entirely different things.

Surely, by the end of the thread, the OP will be made to look like an (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)... simply for questioning and pointing out the double standard. It's common place for a small dedicated group of posters to attack the OP's perceived bigotry while not even acknowledging the OP content. To them, the idea that someone would cross PC boundaries is more offensive than what ever the topic matter of the thread might be.

There have been post about Islamic extremist recruiting children to do their sociopathic dirty work (and such), and the same posters will repeatedly attack the OP and never really acknowledge the madness which is the OP topic.

You bet it would. To think otherwise is foolish.

You can't have different behavioral standards for each and every race or ethnic group. That kind of system will never last. Eventually one or more groups will get fed up.

That's because anti-racism is just a codeword for anti-white. The major news sources got their memo decades ago. I guess yours got lost on the mail.

What does that have to do with anything?

Do blacks think they can overcome what they hate by becoming what they hate?

That's utter stupidity and it shows how much blacks have to go before catching up with whites.

It's good that only a few people have made weak ass attempts to justify P. Dip-(*)(*)(*)(*)s comments. But what really needs to happen is far and wide outrage... as you'd expect in the inverse scenario. It'd be a bonus to see blacks or other minorities speaking out en mass.

It's a double standard for sure.

It's also hard to take the OP that seriously, however, due to his ulterior motives.

I would have more respect for them if they would just admit what those motives are but they seem to prefer to play ignorant. Which I guys shouldn't come as a suprise.

That is quite a compelling argument you are putting forth.
