Today is Tuesday, January 19th, 2021, the last full-day of one-term President Trump's term.

Yesterday, January 18th, 2021, was also Martin Luther King Day, and what better way for Trump to stick his finger in Black peoples' eyes than to release his whackadoodle "1776 Commission" report, which you can read HERE. Among the whackadoodles who wrote the report: extreme racist Ned Ryun and tween whackadoodle Charlie Kirk, you know, the Charlie Kirk who does not know that counties do not vote, but rather, people.

This entire 1776 crap is his response to the 1619 report, a project started by the NYT in order to see the progress of our Republic through the black perspective. Of course, Trump wants nothing to do with the black perspective and so, all umbraged up, he decided per presidential order (which Biden will surely kill with a presidential order in the next days) to start a commission to make sure that educational curricula was nice and white-supremacist.

Of course, this is sure to endear the black community even more to the GOP in the future....for the report goes to great lengths in order to excuse slaveholding and the principle of a black person being only 3/5 of a person for tax purposes.

Yesterday, our stabile genius president also decided to submit his list of names of people to have name plaques in Statuary Park in the so-called "Garden of American Heroes".

The problem? A lot of those names are non-Americans. DUH!

Another problem is brewing for Mike Lindell, the Mr. Pillow guy who thinks that martial law is just such a cool thing. Dominion is about to sue him 3 of 6 feet under the ground for all the lies he told about their election systems. Popcorn? Check. Rootbeer? Check. I'm good to go, here.

And Melanie, excuse me, Melania Trump is not going to give Jill Biden the traditional tour of the WH and the Rose Garden. Four years ago, when the Trump's arrived at the White House, Michelle Obama gave Melania a large gift and gave her the full tour. That's the same Melania Trump who refused to sit on the same toilet that Michelle Obama sat on because she didn't want her ass close to anything that a black ass may have touched and this is why Melania stayed a number of months in New York: to wait until bathroom and other renovations were done at the White House. Fortunately, the former 2nd Lady already knows what the WH and the Rose Garden look like so I am pretty sure that incoming FLOTUS Jill Biden will do just fine without racist birther Melanie's help. But it is so sad that the soon-to-be former First Family is utterly lacking in social graces. There is simply not one single redeeming quality about the Trump family. Not even one.

And poor Rudy Guiliani. Whither art thou, oh Rudy? Yepp, that's the same Rudy whom Trump is no longer paying. Yepp, the Prez stiffed the guy who likes to pull out his little stiffy when minors are in the room, nöööö. The same Rudy who said "Trial by battle" on January 6th. The same Rudy who said he will be Trump's attorney at the SECOND impeachment trial, but now says ooops, can't do that, I will probably be called as a hostile witless witness. Now, Colludy Rudy is saying that the insurrection was pre-planned to deliberately make Trump look bad. All Rudy needs to do now is to sweat some more black hair paint down his face while giving his full confession in front of a sleazy porn-store and then I think we can call this a wrap.

The highlight of today is sure to be the pardon list. No doubt when it come out (I assume, relatively late in the day), the media is going to be combing over it.

Tomorrow, the soon to be ex-president is going to try to hold one of his MAGA rallies at Joint Base Andrews before boarding AF-1 for that last time and getting flown down to MAGA-land in Florida. They are so desperate to get people to show up to this thing that the invitations say 'you can bring 5 people with you'. LOL

The good news is:

in 1 day from today

(exactly 2 weeks after a failed, armed, treacherous, murderous, treasonous MAGA insurrection on the Capitol Building and exactly one week after failed President Trump was impeached for a second time for said insurrection),

on January 20th, 2021, Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. and Kamala Devi Harris will be sworn-in as our Republic's 46th President and 49th Vice-President, respectively.

It would be amusing to see Trump pardoning Julian Assange ... it would be an evident joke for the incoming administration ...

Great entertainment to accompany my first cup of coffee this morning.

"The 1776 Report" should have its own thread. A friend of mine is a retired history professor, and she had the same reactions as other American historians: flaming, racist dreck with very little historical accuracy, its only purpose being to respond with racist politics to the 1619 Project. Of course, in order to debate the merits or lack thereof of these documents, one would have to actually read them both, and few on this forum would be up for that. We'd just get the same parrotted rhetoric as with the Mueller Report being debated by those who hadn't bothered to read it.

I laughed out loud the other day when I heard that Rudy would not be on Trump's impeachment defense teams. First, he's a nut job and even Trump know that. Second, he's likely to be called as a witness. But what made me laugh was the fact that we'd already heard that Trump was refusing to pay him for services already rendered, so of course Rudy is off Trump's list. One Trump cheats someone, they go from hero to zero, friend to foe, in a New York minute. Rudy, dahlink ... that's who Trump is. How could you go from dynamic, successful federal prosecutor and mayor of one of the biggest cities on the planet and be that effing dumb?
