Think of that for a moment. They weren't refugees or people who had come in from elsewhere. Some were even born and grew up in Europe. What kind of society exists there that creates such monsters? And, it should be noted that the vast majority of French Muslims are in France as citizens from former colonies. Here they are: Bilal Hadfi, 20 - French (living in Belgium) Ismaël Omar Mostefaï, 29 - French Samy Amimour, 28 - French Ibrahim Abdeslam, 31 - French (living in Belgium) Salah Abdeslam, 26 - French (living in Belgium) Hamza Attou, 21 - Belgian Mohamed Amri, 27 - Belgian (born in Morocco) *Eighth suspect (unidentified) carrying stolen passport in name of 'Ahmad al-Mohammad', 25 - from Idlib, Syria The alleged mastermind is Abdelhamid Abaaoud, 27, from Belgium. Native born? Holy crap. How can anyone born into one of the world's civilized nations actually buy into the jihadi nonsense? It boggles the mind. One would think they'd run as far from Mid East authoritarianism as they could.
Finally someone did a proper research. I've been saying the same thing for many years. The biggest threat to Europe/UK are home grown terrorists. For example, 7/7 in London was committed by three British nationals of Pakistani origin plus a convert who was born in Jamaica. The authorities have got to stop Salafist/Wahabi teachers spreading hatred in their mosques across Europe. Start shutting down mosques. Enough of Saudi nonsense.
The biggesst threat to Western security is western foreign policy, these people have become radicalised because of the things our countries have been doing to their people for decades, you can't ever protect from that type of attack its impossible, the army have been on the streets of Paris for 10 months it still made no difference. If you want to stop them happening you have to view it like a doctor, the attacks are merely the symptoms, we need to treat the cause. And the cause is our foreign policy, the only way it will stop is for our civilian populations to pressure our governments to start conducting their foreign policy with a modicum of morality and without all the hypocrisy, ditch the alliance with Saudi and force a two-state solution on Israel would be a great starting place.
'Native born" but not a single one of them are Frenchmen(and therefore Europeans) by the truest sense of the word. They are invaders of Europe, and Europe will have to decide whether or not to accept the Muslim invasion or to reject it. The world's awaiting Europe's response.
While these people may be French citizens, it's pretty clear that they aren't French. They're Syrian or Pakistani or whatever. And they are muslims, as opposed to the typical Catholic religion of the French people.
Its not as simple as that, there are tens of millions of Muslims already in Europe, they've been here for decades, that's like asking whether th USA is going to resist the Hispanic invasion the horse has bolted they are here now, therefore our strategy should be two-pronged, assimilate and integrate the Muslims who come here as best as possible, and change our foreign policy so people no longer want to give their lives just to kill a few Europeans.
WTF...Following your simplistic logic then no one is bloody American apart from native Americans. You have no right to call yourself an American. Just applying your silly logic. A person born in France is French.
Is the motivation for the attacks really due to foreign policy, though, or is it religious fanaticism? The jihadis seem to be bent on attacking anyone who has beliefs that differ from their own.
#IAmDog... Why the French Police Dog's Death Matters 11/19/2015 - Diesel, a French police dog, was killed yesterday during a raid in Saint-Denis, Paris, where a number of terrorists had reportedly been found with ammunition and explosives identical to those used in the November 13th attacks. After the raid, the French police published a photo of Diesel on Twitter in tribute to him and other police dogs that are crucial to the safety of officers and the success of dangerous missions.
Yup, I don't get it. Especially France where the government bends over backwards to try to provide services such as health care to everyone. If the attackers were living in dire poverty and were completely marginalized from society (including moderate Muslims in the community) you could see where they might feel their life was hopeless and start to attach blame for it. But quite often they're doing ok in terms of jobs and/or education. The only way I can understand this is to remember that a certain percentage of people are true psychopaths and these people in the presence of enablers will carry out extremely cruel attacks. In the US It's white extremists quite often but also the Boston bombers, and in France it's Muslim extremists. The ideology is only the excuse. These people are seriously broken mentally.
The offers of rape, pillaging, and success tend to draw followers from all corners of society. It's an age old story on repeat.
These are self-styled "Wahhabi clerics"...... having NOTHING to do with Saudi Arabia. - - - Updated - - - In the days of social media, the disaffected and the psychopaths can find each other much like NAMBLA people and pedophiles.
That's a good point. They easily find each other and feed off each other's psychopathy. Not only that but the internet give them the tools and training to carry out their plans.
That sucks. Well, let's not let any politicians know. They might ahve to inject facts into their positions.
As I wrote on another thread, right wing hero Bush allowed entry into this country of refugees from Eritrea, Ethiopia, and Somalia when those countries were in civil wars. He dumped them into the Twin Cities area here in Minnesota and ISIS used some of them to recruit fellow terrorists. Bush was not criticized by Democrats when he did this. Yet, Republicans have no trouble criticizing Obama for allowing entry of the Syrian refugees. Double standards, much ?
Are you reading many of the post on this forum alone??? Obama was elected President of the US and Bernie Sanders even has a following. Every civilized society has it's dissenters, but encouraging them is relatively a new thought, also called "Political Correctness".....
You mean Democratic double standards? Because Republicans have always been at-odds with our open immigration policy and especially with respect to National Security. I cannot be faulted for the leakages in Democratic ideology. If however, the weakness of that ideology finally seeps in and forces a correction to Liberalism, none will be happier than I that they finally came to common sense and reason. And if I should make it clear for you: A flawed premise, no matter who it is held by and no matter when it is held, it is still a flawed premise. Immigration needs to be controlled and stabilized. As it was prior to 1965, and now its become politicized to the detriment of both immigrants and to the United States.
No, I mean Republican double standards. Your hero Bush opened the door for those Muslim refugees and even tried to get amnesty for ALL illegals until he was stopped by conservatives in Congress and the Fox network. Republicans only object to illegal immigrants. But in their small minds, Muslim refugees from the three countries I mentioned above were OK. And it turned out that they were the ones used by ISIS for recruits.
Cut that nonsense Margot. It's got all to do with Saudis. I hope to see one day an international coalition occupying Saudi Arabia and taking control of their oil. Their wealth confiscated and divided between countries. Of course, the Saudi Royal family members executed without exception. I don't think may people in the world would complain about it. Becoming radicalized requires a catalyst. There is a reason that young French Muslims turn to these people for answers. Here is glimpse of one of the big reasons from the article: In the suburbs of Paris, where millions of first- and second-generation Arab and African immigrants live, unemployment is over 50 percent. A paper from the Migration Policy Institute concluded that even after a decade of living in France, immigrants are still highly vulnerable on the labor market because of ongoing discrimination and the lack of resources to help them integrate into society. “These young people have not been integrated in any meaningful way in the [French] society, the job market or in life,” Masmoudi said. “They have been living in France for 20 or 30 years. Some of them were born in France and still feel completely marginalized and isolated. They feel like they don’t belong.” He explained that radical groups recruit young Muslims by tapping into their feelings of anger and hopelessness, which are often born out of years-long disenfranchisement. The groups market an agenda of defending an Islam that is ostensibly under attack by the state. He said such disillusioned youth are more susceptible to being persuaded to join a “bigger cause.” http://america.aljazeera.com/articles/2015/1/14/france-islamophobiaimmigration.html
Islam doesn't have any boundaries. It's an ideology which literally believes humans were created to live under a religious theocracy. There is no room for nationalism to those who are extreme in their Islamic faith. They can't be.
Why not camps for orderly disposal while you are at it? Rome learned the hard way. Dont whitewash their books, understand it and identify the bad verses in context with your culture. If the Moslem supports the bad during a time of peace, it is free speech, deal with it with speech and public education, if at war, the fifth column is raising the flag of the enemy, deal with the enemy with force. The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam." (Obama) Tell the Obamanations supporters to shove that genocidal crap up their Moslem sucking ass. Go to war against those at war with us, and leave the good ones be, otherwise all you have is bad ones hidden in the catacombs with your only solution an inquisition and final solution.
Why does everything end with "It's GWB's Fault"? Your defeating your own purpose, because even the dumbest of Liberal's know Obama has been in office over 7 years and Bush has not once tried to defend any of his policies....
