He certainly came across that way, he stated the facts but overall the facts ultimately helped Trump.

Yep. He knew nothing about the details of Trump's repayment to Cohen and he testified that he had killed numerous stories over the years for other celebs, none of whom were running for president. That's 2 facts that the jury didn't know before. Details that didn't help the prosecution's case.

Not really. Pecker acknowledged that he knew he was breaking a law by influence peddling in a national election. It’s not against the law to keep Arnold’s reputation clean when he’s not running for office.

The other celebrities weren’t running for election.

I don't need to read more.
But you haven't shown any evidence of this being hoops being jumped through to get to trial.

How many appeals and delay attempts have been made to prove there is no case to go to trial? Yet, the trial is going on.

The rabbit hole is the one you're attempting to open, without evidence.

What evidence do you believe is not correct?
Others have explained to you how it got to this point. Have you addressed all of them?

    EDIT

Why was Pecker needing immunity? If there's no crime involved?

    ...
David Pecker, the chairman of American Media, Inc., which publishes the National Enquirer, was granted immunity in exchange for giving prosecutors information about Cohen and Trump's knowledge of those payments, according to The Wall Street Journal and other media outlets.

Funds for what ? Trump always used campaign funds to pay his lawyers. His fixer lawyer, Cohen used 130,000 of his own money Then gets reimbursed by Trump…..who pays his lawyers from political, donations. The first offense is for cooking the books to hide the sources from Trump business . Changing the money trail by is then a felony…its the source that was altered.

That was effing rude and uncalled for. Did your parents fail to teach you civilized manners and social skills? Maybe you were bullied as a child.

    Shame on you.

No, but you still insist you read the indictments then claim what ? What is your claim. I fail to see it. Calling someone a fraud with no proof is your standard way of doing business ? That’s what gets you a response…

Not if they are altering the books to hide the source. I guess you trump supporters don’t get it. Altering the books is the felony….not the source. We generally know what much of his campaign funds are being used for….no one cares. But altering the books/records is a big deal if the funds are then used to influence an election. No,one also cares that Trump paid a porn star….no one cares…but if he did it to alter an election, it’s a crime also.

That’s where Pecker, Cohen and his accountants come in. Trump is incorporated. That means he can be immune from prosecution that individuals can’t…but it also means his financial records have to be truthful and available for public scrutiny. You Trumpers don’t seem to get it.

Shame on you for claiming you read the indictments, calling me a fraud and not producing where and what you read. They are public record…

Not when it’s related to the commission of another crime.
You’re not reading the indictments ? They are felonies.

    Youre contradicting your previous post.

I read the indictments the day they were put online. What other crime?

Doubling down instead of apologizing? Can't manage to man up, recognize your own snarkiness, and own up? Okay then, I will feel free to respond in kind.

I did not, in fact, call anyone a fraud. I stated that Trump is on trial for fraud. He is being tried for fraudulently using campaign funds to reimburse Cohen for paying Stormy Daniels for her silence in the days/weeks/months leading up to the 2016 election.

Who is having trouble reading now?

No he is not. Funds came from Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust and
Donald J. Trump and recorded in their records.
    Are you having trouble reading
Read Trump’s full indictment in Stormy Daniels hush money case (msnbc.com)
Counts 1-7 are payments from Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust
8-34 are payments from Donald J. Trump himself.

Here you go…we know he’s been funneling campaign funds into his business and paying his legal fees. Because he’s required to report it. What makes you think he did not before when it’s obvious he altered the financial statements. That’s part of the indictment…you see, I read that. And I know what a trust is…it’s funds dedicated to pay a resin or entity and that entity is Trump inc.

    Yup
We don’t know where the trust monies came from. He was cooking the books and shuffling the money around before to pay Danials . That we know. He’s recently cleaned up his act because he has come under indictment and we know this for sure…and that even puts him into more jeopardy…
