Pence called Kamala Harris this week to offer assistance ahead of inauguration (msn.com) Vice President Mike Pence called his soon-to-be successor, Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, to congratulate her and offer his assistance before she and President-elect Joe Biden are sworn in next Wednesday, a person familiar with the matter said. The phone call on Thursday between Pence and Harris marked their first discussion since they debated publicly last fall during the vicious presidential campaign. Nothing Pence could do short of the 25th excuses his inaction, so "better late than never" isn't going to cut it with me. The time for ceremonial phone calls has long passed. That said, I can respect the act, not the man. I'm interpreting this as a sign from Pence asserting control over Trump.
Lets not pretend a Republican could do anything that would get your vote. Those looking at every action through leftie lenses will only see what they want to see. No different than those on the other side. Its all symbolic BS if you ask me.

Huh? If Pence actually CARED, the call would have made the call over 2 Months Ago. After Nov. 7th (when the results in PA became clear) and Biden had (absolutely) WON (making Harris the VP-Elect)-- THAT is when Pence should have made the call. Glad to clear that up for you.

Agreed, but if Trump had any control at this point, even residually, the call would not have been made. It's humiliating for Trump.

But, even if one was to "buy into" your point: The Election WAS "made official" in the Early Morning of January 7th. So, then why did it take Pence 8 days to make the phone call?
Doubt it; Trump would tell his followers not to vote for him and too many Non-Trumpers will not vote for him regardless
