    75% of the American people were against the invasion of Iraq. Now Rick Perry, in the NBC/Facebook Primary debates, says he wants to REinvade!

    Please quote where he said he wants to "invade" Iraq. And you do know we have troops still there?

    Perry wants to send many US troops back in there, even if the Iraqi's don't want them. These would certainly come under fire as they deploy.

    Although he never used the word, "invasion", it's clearly what he advocated and anyone but an extreme, right wing GOPper would see it was.

    US troops were removed as per an agreement with the Iraqi government. The Iraqi government does not want US troops in Iraq. So not only would sending troops back to Iraq be an invasion, it would be a hostile invasion.

    Yeah, this was really stupid.

    Very few people want to send a bunch of troops back into Iraq. This is the biggest mistake by ANY candidate in the 2012 race so far. It's just not being covered that way because Perry's chances of winning had already been dismissed.

    He's effectively squelched any chance that he did have of winning. Oops...again.

    Right he did not say he wants to have an "invasion", you are putting words in his mouth. It is not clear at all he wants to invade, he like many think we should have troops there and clearly he said that needs to be discussed with Iraqi's, not to invade them.

    "I think we start talking with the Iraqi individuals there."

    Did you miss that part.

    Yes and Perry said we need to talk to them and get troops back.

    No where can you quote him saying he wants to invade.

    If you are going to discuss his position do it from an honest stand point.

    And many think it was a diplomatic and strategic blunder on Obama's part that he got run out. It is prime real estate for a base from which to operate out of.

    As Iran starts to threaten the region many will woe the day Obama cut and ran.

    Aside from the fact that Perry can't do anything in lists of 3 as well, this reason is good enough for me not to vote for him ever.

    The re-invade question should be put to all in the next GOP debate, that would put their butts in the fire big time with little chance of coming away quite scorched.

    You aren't arguing his point, just the choice of words.
    Do you agree Perry wants to send troops back into Iraq uninvited by the Iraqi people or government?
