The assault on Planned Parenthood has once more been stopped by the courts. While we know the right-wingers won't stop with their vendetta, pro-choicers and supporters of Planned Parenthood should celebrate this victory.

After five tumultuous years, the nation's first criminal prosecution of Planned Parenthood came to an end Friday when prosecutors dropped the last of the charges against the abortion provider.

Johnson County District Attorney Steve Howe and Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt jointly announced they were dismissing the last 32 charges against Planned Parenthood. A four-page statement detailed their reasons.

The decision ends an investigation started by Phill Kline, who began the probe as Kansas attorney general in 2003 and lodged a 107-count criminal complaint in 2007 after he did not win re-election and was appointed Johnson County district attorney.

Kline's investigations of Planned Parenthood and the late Wichita abortion provider George Tiller, who was shot to death in 2009, snared him in an ethics complaint that could cost him the right to practice law in Kansas, although he now lives and teaches in Virginia.

"This is a good day for women in Kansas," said Peter Brownlie, president of Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri.

"We are grateful that the taxpayers and citizens of Kansas are not going to have to waste their precious resources and time on a case that shouldn't have come in the first place."

We're not talking about murdered babies here. We're talking about Planned Parenthood, an organization which prevents abortion by the education and distribution of birth control, being vindicated from another unfounded attack.

Well the good folks at Stormfront will be jumping for joy, many of them support legalized abortion for the very reason that minorities are the main recipients, and it helps to lower the population of "mud people" in America, as it's racist founder desired as well.

Racist Planned Parenthood abortion doctor says “Let me see you adopt one of those ugly black babies", "defends the practice of abortion by saying that he doesn’t want to pay for them on the public dole with this taxes,.”

It's only a good day for whores, women of class however have more reason to fear than ever, that amoral women are dragging their gender down into the dirt with them, by pretending to speak for them.

But if abortion is not feticide, then there's no reason why it would be necessary to prevent it.

The doublethink of the pro-death crowd is simply pathetic.

Women of class would not even CONSIDER the option of abortion, or sex before marriage.

The problem with young girls and women today, is that they have become perverted by SATAN, Zionism, mass media, sexualization of children, and all around liberal values raping their pride, chastity, and virginity.

I'm surprised teachers don't just rape young girls in public school classrooms, that's practically the equivalent of what's going on in our ONCE GREAT NATION today....... that's what everybody is teaching our young girls, anyway.

Oh you mean Margaret Sanger? The founder of Planned Parenthood who was pro-life? LOL Shocking isn't it? Sanger was against abortion.

As for being a racist, well I am sure it's true. Racism was an acceptable thing during that era so that's really not surprising at all. You have to remember that as society grows and changes over time so does it's morals.

But that is all moot as she is dead now and her input into Planned Parenthood is non-existent.

Too bad dishonesty and lying are not against the law. Then Planned Parenthood would be shut down for good.

I love how lifers constantly bring up Margaret Sanger, as if pro-choicers today all know who she is, what she did, and her connection to Planned Parenthood. They think pro-choicers have pictures of her hanging up somewhere and worship her as some kind of hero.

I've been pro-choice for over 10 years. For over 9 of those years, I had a little bit of name recognition with Sanger(most likely from history classes in high school and college), but was oblivious to the details of her life and her involvement in reproductive politics. She was completely irrelevant to my becoming and staying pro-choice, just as I'm sure she is to most of the younger pro-choice people(and probably a lot of the older ones too).

As long as abortion is elective, as it is in the USA, it is a personal choice. Hence the term, pro-choice. Not pro-abortion which is a mind numbingly stupid distortion, but pro-choice. I am okay with either outcome, birth or abortion, as long as whichever outcome happens is the choice of the mother. So, if I'm pro-abortion, I'm also pro-birth.

Not to mention we'd have to shut down every church, mosque and temple since they have no facts to prove what they are saying. lol

yeah. God knows we don't want to mention anything about dead babies. Got news for you. The majority of Americans do not support the president's extreme views on abortion or yours for that matter. They especially don't understand women that advocate for the murder of the unborn.

it may not mean anything to you but it sure means something, more than you realize to the people that defend PP and the pro-abort agenda. They don't want the name Sanger mentioned. Education would be the end of PP and the pro-abort lobby.

Means nothing to anyone outside of America

Yet another example of the pro-lifers being the ill-informed misinforming the uninformed. They seem to pin unrealistic hopes on simplistic solutions

Got news for you, my views on abortion are not extreme. The majority of Americans support RvW. I support RvW. All of us who support RvW do NOT advocate for the murder of the unborn, we like legality.
