Most cops ABSOLUTELY ARE bullies-the rule, not the exception. Nobody will do anything about the bad cops, because they do not want to end up like Donna Jane Watts, or Joe Crystal, or Adrian Schoolcraft. The entire department covered up for the guy that raped my wife-he retired a Captain with a fat pension and faced no consequences. Though it's been almost fifteen years since she woke up screaming, and she no longer starts hyperventilating when she sees a cop..

I was a cop. I never covered for thugs. I arrested them. I never covered for rapists. I arrested them. I never covered for pedophiles, I arrested them. I never covered for murderers.
I did arrest the mayors son for burglary and charged the county major traffic accidents investigator with reckless driving. Both were convicted. In fact, I had the highest uniformed officer arrest and conviction rate in the county.

Tired of your silly, childish rants about how all cops are bad because you ran into a crew of *******s in uniform. Here's an alert for you, there are a few bad cops, out of some 800,000 cops in the US, if 99% are good you'll still have 8,000 bad ones.
Get the bad ones. Support the good ones.

There are no good cops, because the handful that actually exist either turn bad or leave law enforcement quickly. Thus, you MUST assume all cops are bad.

That wasn't my experience, in fact the opposite was the case. "Bad" cops didn't get past probation. Cops who messed up owned up. Always.

More likely, you are either naive or complicit, since the thugs are often the ones training the rookies. (Derek Chauvin comes to mind.)

all cops are not bad, but sadly the bad ones cause fear in the public, I wish all the victims of bad cops got justice, but it's just not the case most of the time

we need to end the war on drugs and fishing expeditions on drivers as a lot of abuse happens there
