Yes we have tasers and pepper sprays. The machete guy was corralled and nobody got hurt. Job done. In your similar scenario there's a guy in critical condition in hospital. Why were our cops cowards? It takes a moron to tackle an armed suspect who's already proven to have no regard for the safety of others. Btw, most of our boys in blue carry .40 cal Too bad you don't live here, we could have the cops call you to the scene, hand you a can of OC and a tazer so you could show them how it's done. We would all learn so much. Sucks the guy is in critical condition laying in a hospital bed. That $h*t is expensive to the tax payers. Then we'll have to pay for his legal defense, which will no doubt claim that he's mentally unstable to stand trial, since it's NYC, a lib judge will likely buy that excuse and admit this nut case into a mental institution for a few years.
