Warning: Spoilers to the Political Compass test are in this post. I encourage you to take the test before reading. The story no one wants to hear: I took the Political Compass test a while ago, and I got this for my results: Economic Left/Right: 9.25 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.72 Economically, I did fine, but socially, I did horrible! I was barely below the line. I had to see what I said that was not socially Libertarian, so I went online to get the answers to the test. I couldn't find anything! It looked like no one had the answers. I left it alone, but it aggravated me. How could I be so socially unfree? I took the test a repetitive number of times and got approximately the same results. Still, I was determined to find out how I did not believe in social freedom. It aggravated me so much that I decided to figure out the answers myself. So, with some research and a lot of guessing, I finally figured out the answers. According to the test, if you rather look at random splashes of paint than the computer you're using, you think all kids are liars, and you think that if you're proud of your country, you're an idiot, than you believe in social freedom. Instructions on how to follow the answers: The page number is shown above each list of answers, so that's easy to tell. The numbers (e.g., "5 -") are the numbers of the question. If the number says "5," then a dash, then that means it is the fifth question listed on that page. The letters at the end of the answers, "(e)" and "(s)" are what type of issue it is: social or economic. The "(e)" means it is an economic issue, and the "(s)" means it is a social issue. Following my answers of when to strongly (dis)agree will result in complete freedom; that is, economically completely right, and socially completely Libertarian (i.e., this). Following my social issues will result in negative numbers. Following my economic issues will result in positive numbers. Doing the opposite of what I say on social issues will result in positive numbers. Doing the opposite of what I say on economic issues will result in negative numbers. Finally, the actual answers: Page 1 of 6 1 - Strongly disagree (e) 2 - Strongly disagree (s) 3 - Strongly agree (s) 4 - Strongly disagree (s) 5 - Strongly disagree (s) 6 - Strongly disagree (s) 7 - Strongly agree (s) Page 2 of 6 1 - Strongly disagree (e) 2 - Strongly disagree (e) 3 - Strongly disagree (e) 4 - Strongly disagree (e) 5 - Strongly disagree (e) 6 - Strongly disagree (e) 7 - Strongly disagree (e) 8 - Strongly disagree (e) 9 - Strongly agree (e) 10 - Strongly agree (e) 11 - Strongly agree (e) 12 - Strongly disagree (e) 13 - Strongly disagree (e) 14 - Strongly agree (e) Page 3 of 6 1 - Strongly disagree (s) 2 - Strongly disagree (s) 3 - Strongly disagree (s) 4 - Strongly agree (e) 5 - Strongly agree (s) 6 - Strongly disagree (s) 7 - Strongly disagree (s) 8 - Strongly agree (s) 9 - Strongly agree (s) 10 - Strongly disagree (s) 11 - Strongly disagree (s) 12 - Strongly disagree (s) 13 - Strongly agree (s) 14 - Strongly disagree (s) 15 - Strongly disagree (s) 16 - Strongly disagree (s) 17 - Strongly agree (e) 18 - Strongly agree (e) Page 4 of 6 1 - Strongly agree (s) 2 - Strongly disagree (s) 3 - Strongly disagree (s) 4 - Strongly disagree (s) 5 - Strongly disagree (s) 6 - Strongly disagree (s) 7 - Strongly disagree (s) 8 - Strongly disagree (s) 9 - Strongly disagree (s) 10 - Strongly disagree (s) 11 - Strongly agree (s) 12 - Strongly disagree (s) Page 5 of 6 1 - Strongly disagree (s) 2 - Strongly disagree (s) 3 - Strongly agree (e) 4 - Strongly disagree (s) 5 - Strongly disagree (s) Page 6 of 6 1 - Strongly disagree (s) 2 - Strongly agree (s) 3 - Strongly agree (s) 4 - Strongly agree (s) 5 - Strongly disagree (s) 6 - Strongly disagree (s)
You know, I've been told that there is a way to cheat on the Ten Commandments and still get into Heaven, too.
I like this thing. I seem to get more conservative every time I take it. Economic Left/Right: 4.88 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 2.67
Economic Left/Right: 3.75 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.62 I didn't have many STRONGLY agree or disagrees because many of the questions were loaded or vauge...
These are my results I was surprised, because I didn't consider myself THAT economically right, but my answers on the economics page probably pulled me pretty far to the right.
If she spins clockwise you're right brained. If she spins counter clockwise you're left brained. If you can see her spin both ways ..... [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eA1X87FsUJ0&feature=related"]Test Your Whole Brain - YouTube[/ame]
The answers may be slightly different now or there have been some changes. For example, to achieve total Libertarian, "question all authority" (page 3 question 2) needs to be Strongly Agree. So, that leaves two(?) economic questions that are different now than the key above, if desire is to push all the way to 10.00 to the right on economic scale. I haven't figure out which two econ questions those are. The author of this thread may have a copy of the test from 2010, to glance at wording or whatnot to see if test has been changed in that way to change effect of the answer. When I use LibertarianFTW's set of answers above, I get: Economic Left/Right: 8.88 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -9.54
