Im not in a city anymore, but when i have seen video of celebrations in cities there often show people celebrating by shooting guns Ito the air. This could be a hazard IMO. Bullets are part of the bang and when your gun goes bang a bullet comes out.

But that "BANG!" sound is essential to a party, so with that in mind, where is the safest place to point your partying pistol?

Don't don't forget "Saftey First", then have a a blast!

Shooting it in soft earth is the best choice short of the best one-NOT SHOOTING AT ALL. those who shoot guns in the air are morons unless its birdshot

It is the responsibility of the shooter to know where the bullet will terminate. Shooting at the ground is irresponsible since the point off impact is close to the shooter and bystanders.

Shooting at parties for the sound is not something a responsible gun owner does.

I hear it more on New Years Eve as fireworks are plentiful on the 4th of July.
