I would say that if those many offenders were actually and vigorously prosecuted for their crimes, the behavior of subsequent politicians might change. Sadly, that is not likely to happen. Just like Rome, the system has become too corrupt to function.
That is the objective of these proposed Amendments. Agreed. The proposed Amendments are a wish list, I have no illusions that any of them will ever become reality. The ruling class would not likely entertain any of these proposals because they would serve to give The People full oversight over their government as the founders intended and as it should be.
