Oh my, it looks like corrupt Justice Thomas has been caught, again, with his hand out.
Of course, this is ok for the right because he's one of their guys.

"JUSTIN ELLIOTT: What we found is that this billionaire Republican donor, Harlan Crow, actually paid the boarding school tuition for Justice Thomas' grand-nephew. This wasn't a distant relative. Justice Thomas actually took legal custody of his nephew when he was 6 years old and raised him for his whole childhood as a son. And Crow actually paid his school tuition."

It does look bad, most people want impartiality from judges, most especially the SC.

Blatant and visible corruption from a once well respected court.

Of the 9 justices currently on the bench only four were elected by presidents who were chosen by the people’s voices and one was chosen by a president that had to be installed by that same court.

This court does not support or represent the people in any way.

Sotomayor got millions from a publishing house who was involved in cases she ruled on and didn't recuse herself, but that's ok...lol

That isn't the court's job. It's job is to uphold the Constitution.

    Justices aren't elected...lol

Nominated and then confirmed, feel better?

Once the court becomes illegitimate in the eyes of the people we will begin to see major issues. And they are no longer upholding the constitution, they are interpreting it

Which explains why a conservative Supreme Court can rule one way, and then that ruling be reversed within a few decades by another conservative court.

Not to mention with all the current scandals going on

We are already seeing a lot of problems, but it has nothing to do with the SC and everything to do with the current corrupt admin, and corrupt fbi.

    1. The article doesn’t say when this happened.

    2. It’s NPR

    3. Thomas is one of nine justices, he’s not a swing vote, he can’t write executive orders or make political appointments. He’s not the president of the country.

    4. It’s NPR running cover for the Biden scandals.

    5. Thomas should come out and explain just like Biden should explain his own allegations, Clinton should explain her policy decisions which favored people and countries that donated to her foundation, and Obama should explain giving a huge federal contract to a publishing company who then paid him $28 million to publish his book.

    6. Yeah, it’s a whataboutism, Trump Trump Trump

    7. It’s NPR, will they be talking about any of the issues I pointed out in #5?

Of course it's okay, do as I say, not as I do. As usual, we are seeing selective outrage by the dear democrats. Until they hold their own to the same standard, this is just another partisan witch hunt.

The Democrats and their selective eyes on corruption. What a joke. They couldn't care less about the above corruption. Fighting corruption only matters when it comes to help THEM. Besides all that, ProPublica, who did the alleged investigating has a known leftist bias.

    5. Great ! Why don't you hold your breath until Thomas explains ? Any minute now, right ?
    6. Where is the Orange Stain mentioned ?
    7. When will FaUX and the rest of the right wing echo chamber cover this story ?

Can you find a single liberal that has said it’s ok?
Most of the ones I have talked to on the issue have said investigate her and if she did something improper then see needs to be punished.

Republicans are the only ones say he didn’t do anything wrong by being given millions in vacations each year, and then he didn’t do anything wrong when a donor bought his moms house for a premium, fixed it up and then let her live there and now he didn’t do anything wrong by letting a donor pay for his child’s 200k education.

Y’all are concerned about a single case where a publisher paid a judge 3 million for a book she wrote and disclosed that made much more than that but don’t seem to care about the tens of millions that thomas has taken and lied about. Not to mention his wife’s activism that he also hid.

The current court has upheld the Constitution more than other courts have.

Show us all the threads, by Leftists, raising hell about it, like they do about Thomas.

Ginni Thomas is free to do anything she wants. She doesn't have to report her activism to the government. It's called the 1st Amendment.

OH MY GOSH!!!!! He helped his grand-nephew who was in a bad situation, much like his own grandfather helped him and his close personal friend helped out. How DARE THEY.

And then comes THIS, they actually helped a poor elderly black widow woman living in a tar paper roof shacked. IMPEACH him!!!!!! Who do these guys think they are helping people out!!!!

BREAKING: Harlan Crow and Clarence Thomas Once Conspired to Aid a Penniless Widow

A ProPublica investigation has revealed that billionaire real-estate developer Harlan Crow paid the bills of a personal acquaintance of Supreme Court justice Clarence Thomas in an arrangement that has set off alarm bells for experts in government ethics.

In an undisclosed meeting between Crow and Thomas on Easter weekend in 2005, Thomas mentioned that, through family friends, he had learned of a widowed elderly woman living near Pin Point, Ga., in a leaky tar-paper shack.

Claiming that he was moved by her plight from his own experience with childhood poverty, Thomas had begun sending her food deliveries and paying a home health aide to check in on her. Then, Crow wielded his massive fortune to take the arrangement to another level.

At Crow’s own suggestion, people familiar with the deal say, they moved the woman to an apartment for three months until a local charity could be found to help her get better, more permanent housing.

Crow paid the rent for all three months....

    More here https://www.nationalreview.com/corn...omas-once-conspired-to-aid-a-penniless-widow/

Sen. Dick Durbin has announce he will start hearings in order to put a stop to such actions by Justices on the Supreme Court. We must stop these corrupt conspiracies and make sure Justice do NOTHING outside of deciding cases before them.

What more do you need to know? HER PUBLISHERS who paid her directly millions of dollars had cases before her and she did not recuse herself. Should not even more happen to her than Thomas here who received no direct income benefit and is accused of HELPING others???
