All it takes is a google search, and you can see the reaction of a Trump presidency. Nationwide protests against his upcoming term, the burning of flags, but something that right wing conservatives, moderate Trump supporters, and most importantly, the "Silent Majority" aren't willing to acknowledge is the now open and apparently acceptable racist occurrences throughout the nation

Twitter is already bustling with stories of citizens of foreign descent and legal immigrants being attacked by their long time neighbors and coworkers through colorful comments, bigoted jokes about deportation, letters telling people to come back where they came from, and in some cases, physical altercations, one in which a high school girl had her hijab ripped of her head forcibly by other students at her school.

one could make the argument that white power population and the anti-immigrant bigots always act out following a republican victory in a big election, but the issue with these occurrences is that the president elect has shaped his policies to appeal to these uneducated and prejudiced americans, with his solid border, the muslim ban, and most infamously, the wall. Because of this specific appeal and his emphasis on border and immigration control being his top issue, Trump has the ability to incite unprecedented racial bias through nationalistic points of view, putting immigrants at a second class citizen status because they weren't natural born citizens.

Be ready america. It's only going to get worse.

Craig's list is offering $15 for anyone willing to protest with them. But there is a bright side. Everyone did expect a war with Russia to stop Trump, so comparatively speaking this is better. Trump did say he will clean out the swamp, and the prospect of going to jail isn't exactly the life our criminals in Washington, (pedophiles and all) were looking forward to.

I was part of the Peaceful Protests back in the Vietnam days.
No arson, looting, graffiti. Just making a legal presence, more like Occupy.


We dearly need to employ something like the "Riot Act" (Google it)

When looting, arson, gunfire, bottle throwing, etc. start to become too common,
the demonstration has become a Riot. Loudspeakers should advise the crowd of the change of legal status and rioting will get you arrested, booked, etc. unless you peacefully leave the area. Crowd control need a system to corral the mass into a smaller and smaller perimeter until they can be individually arrested and processed.



The supreme example of Racism is Black people having the Right to Riot without consequences
while people get so worked up over a few Red Neck Cowboys. Got Racism? Tell me.

These crybabies are simply going through the stages of grief. Election night and the morning after consisted of the denial phase, we are currently seeing anger on full display. I expect they will hit bargaining after the weekend before hitting depression later on, then finally reaching acceptance perhaps by Thanksgiving.

It all makes me glad I live in rural America..

 

Yep I used to live in the big city......Then I moved to an area where parcel sizes were 1 to 40 acres. The very first thing that totally floored me were the few cars parked at the store that were actually running with the keys in the ignition!! Because it was HOT and they wanted to keep their cars cool while they shopped. Also they leave stuff in their yards unprotected and no one ever steals anything. Unbelievable!!!! Or is it?
