Outin needs fall guys. The dictator can never take responsibility for his actions so he always needs to deflect blame and deflect attention away from himself.

Yesterday, Russia's Defense Minister Shoigu appointed General 'Armageddon' to be in charge of all the newly united Russian armies in Ukraine. General Surovikin was given the nickname ‘General Armageddon’ by his colleagues, citing his hardline and unorthodox approach to military operations. I say newly united because the former armies of the 2 Republics; Donetsk and Lugansk, have now become part of the Russian Federation and will be supplied accordingly.

I don't know the situation with Kadyrov's volunteer army, but since he was made a General by Vladimir Putin a week ago, I have to assume his army is now also part of the Russian army.

"Defense" has nothing to do with it.

Yes, the Chechnyan Kadyrov is an interesting figure - estimates vary how many Checznyans civilians were killed by Russian - from low 30,000 up to 200,000. Journalist Anna Politkovskaya who investigated Chechnya wars was murdered. So it is very interesting how Checzen army will behave, especially when native Russians are leaving Russia to avoid mobilisation.

Of course it does. Russia has never said it wants to break up the EU, the US or Nato, nor has it ever shown any movement towards that. While they in turn have said many times that their intent is to break up the Russian Federation and grab its assets. If that is not 'defense', then what is it?

As for Ukraine, it's only a means used by Washington to destroy the Russan Federation.

Jack Keane, former chief of staff of the US army said recently when mentioning the money spent for the war in Ukraine:

Our investments in Ukraine are in the interests of the US, and are very profitable, since it is not Americans who are dying in the war with Russia, but Ukrainians.

You're super duper right. Russia was forced to attack Ukraine because, like, NATO, the USA, and stuff. It was "self defense" for Russia to invade its neighbor. Good call!

Of course, Russia has never said it wants to break up the EU, the US or NATO, Russia only wants to free Ukraine, Poland, Estonia, Lithuania and some other countries from Nazis, exactly the same way as in 1939 Russia freed Poland and Finland from the Nazis, in 1956 Russia freed Hungary from the Nazis, in 1968 they freed Czechoslovakia from the Nazis, in 1979 they freed Afghanistan from the Nazis and now Russian is freeing Ukraine from the Nazis.

I think Russia and President Putin deserve Nobel peace prize!

Shoigu is incompetent but he is a Putler yes man plus Putler seems to think having a disliked incompetent in charge of the military is a good thing. At least Putin knows the disliked incompetent can't overthough him.
