Yesterday, Russia's Defense Minister Shoigu appointed General 'Armageddon' to be in charge of all the newly united Russian armies in Ukraine. General Surovikin was given the nickname ‘General Armageddon’ by his colleagues, citing his hardline and unorthodox approach to military operations. I say newly united because the former armies of the 2 Republics; Donetsk and Lugansk, have now become part of the Russian Federation and will be supplied accordingly. I don't know the situation with Kadyrov's volunteer army, but since he was made a General by Vladimir Putin a week ago, I have to assume his army is now also part of the Russian army.
Yes, the Chechnyan Kadyrov is an interesting figure - estimates vary how many Checznyans civilians were killed by Russian - from low 30,000 up to 200,000. Shoigu is incompetent but he is a Putler yes man plus Putler seems to think having a disliked incompetent in charge of the military is a good thing. At least Putin knows the disliked incompetent can't overthough him.
