Now that the word is out that Obama's people threatened the life of Chelsea Clinton in 2008, has Secret Service assigned more agents to protect her? I would like to know, and on Monday I'm going to call their public relationships office and ask that question. Wish me luck.
Oh please let us know how that turns out. Especially since the word in this case consists of the claim of one woman- not of course the Clinton's.
I ASSUME that will happen. And I will report on any attempt to intimidate me or shut me down. - - - Updated - - - Isn't the Secret Service required to act on all actionable intelligence? It would look really, really, bad if the Secret Service, now that they know Obama is a threat to Chelsea Clinton, allowed his people to kill her.
From everything I have read the Secret Service is quite diligent on acting on actionable intelligence. I suspect that they took one look at this story and decided there isn't any.
Well, that would be very foolish for them to ignore this story because if something bad were to happen to Chelsea now, they'd get in a lot of trouble.
SS agent: Excuse me Mr. President, we have received actionable intelligence that, uh, you, made threats to murder Chelsea Clinton if Bill and Hillary Clinton went public with what they knew about your birth certificate. We seek authority from you, uh, to put enchanced security protocols to protect Ms. Clinton in case, uh, you, decide to carry out your threat to kill her. Obama: Let me think that over and I'll get back to you next week.
You would think that at least one reporter would go up to Bill Clinton and find out if this is true. But perhaps not. Any reporter who did that might find a bomb in his car.
Do let us know how that phone call goes- though I don't know why you are waiting until Monday- I somewhat suspect the Secret Service operates 24/7. I bet with all the money going through Vegas that the Secret Service has a field office in LV. Maybe you could go down in person. It would probably help if you told them that its their fault if Chelsea gets killed.
I learned long ago to generally get out of the way of people who are looking for trouble. (Sometimes, I do have to 'report' them.)
