Who with an sense of decency wants to see discrimination against people? I'm not talking about not liking someone who is acting out.

The only media I saw reporting it accurately over the period of protest was the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, CBS, NBC, ABC ... they all hyped it.

 

A person might steal sneakers so they can get money from fencing them.

No matter, we simply can't tolerate the level of lawlessness in many cities. Big population states like Texas, California, New York, Florida, Illinois--they all have too much crime in their big cities. People don't want to go into cities to see sporting events, take in plays, go to restaurants, etc. Businesses are being thieved out of business.

 

Oh baloney. It was a big story and and got commiserate coverage in Canada it got the usual crazy neighbors to the South coverage.

Note with the exception of Florida all big cities are blue and as such infested with Soros funded prosecutors who are only interested in prosecuting cops and people defending themselves from criminals.

Just about every dang outlet is playing up the violence. How would you like to be a black person who owns a home in Ferguson, works hard and finds rioting poor people government plopped down in a housing project in his community? Then the media zoo shows up, then Al Sharpton and the usual outsiders, and the media talks like Ferguson is a horrible place where the community is up in arms.

Still, even with all the hype, the riot was confined to a few blocks. How can this country get over the race stuff if we distort reality to keep people tuned in? All blacks aren't anti-police rioters.

Seems to me you're part of the problem, not part of the solution.

You might try looking at how people actually feel, not about pols and prosecutors talk. Or them being soft on crime.

I thought it was 33%. My wife is a card carrying Cherokee. My adopted daughter is part Latino my son in law is Latino. Changing with the times? I am the "times". Which means, in the grand scheme of things, precisely nothing. My ancestry is an ad mixture of various places in Europe the family name traces back to Normandy according to some research my mom did, but that too in the grand scheme of things is meaningless.

The only thing that truly matters is where the heart lies. The heart infested by a lust for power never leads anywhere worth going. The color of the skin on the outside cannot change the corrupt core that lusts for power.

Which white people are causing the 70% single parent home fiasco in the black community? Hard to create wealth when there's no stable family. Who's forcing black fathers to run away? 'FORT EDWARD, N.Y. (AP) — A man was convicted of second-degree murder Tuesday for fatally shooting a young woman when the SUV she was riding in mistakenly drove up his rural driveway in upstate New York.

A jury found Kevin Monahan, 66, guilty of second-degree murder for shooting 20-year-old Kaylin Gillis on a Saturday night last April after she and her friends pulled into his long, curving driveway near the Vermont border while they were trying to find another house.

The group’s caravan of two cars and a motorcycle began leaving once they realized their mistake. Authorities said Monahan came out to his porch and fired twice from his shotgun, with the second shot hitting Gillis in the neck as she sat in the front passenger seat of an SUV driven by her boyfriend.

During the trial, Monahan and his attorney maintained the shooting in the rural town of Hebron, about 40 miles (65 kilometers) north of Albany was an accident involving a defective gun.'

A New York man who was convicted of killing a 20-year-old woman after she and other young people mistakenly pulled into the driveway of his home was sentenced Friday to 25 years to life.

Kevin Monahan was convicted in January of second-degree murder, reckless endangerment and tampering in the April 15 death of Kaylin Gillis, whom he fatally shot after the car she was traveling in, as well as another vehicle and a motorcycle, pulled into Monahan’s driveway in rural Hebron, about 40 miles north of Albany, as they were looking for a party. ... The group was lost and in an area of New York that did not have cell service.

Monahan had testified at trial that he felt threatened by the appearance of the vehicles and motorcycle pulling into his driveway and thought he was being blocked in. He said he turned on his floodlights, grabbed a 20-gauge shotgun and fired a warning shot. The second shot he fired, the one that killed Gillis, happened by accident, Monahan testified, after he tripped over nails protruding on his deck.

At the trial, Monahan said he felt “like my soul is dead.” ... He was also sentenced to a smaller consecutive sentence for tampering with evidence.
