Here is a little bit of Info about the Regent, a relatively new grape variety: More: https://www.germanwines.de/knowledge/grape-varieties/red-grapes/regent/
Richards "Wild Irish Rose".... the No.1 empty bottle found at crime scenes! Sorry, I just couldn't resist the temptation.
OK - and which real existing red sorts of wine have you enjoyed? Have you found some of their names in the list above?
Cabernet AND merlot. My go to reds. Really enjoy dry red wine.....to much actually. I save it for company and night outs.
I've never been much of a wine aficionado, although in my misspent youth I guzzled MORE than my fair share of the two "award winners" previously noted.....Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Shiraz I find more to my taste now. As I noted in the "white" thread I made a batch of mead (which I have NEVER tasted before in my life) out of curiosity and find I like it considerably....having once homebrewed beer and ales I'm looking forward to playing around with different recipes for honey wine....grape wines are WAAAAY too complicated for me.
