Republican always voted early and voted by mail. Trump voted “mail in ballot” in 2018. It was DEMS who used to register and vote same day. This is why so many RED state do not offer same day registration. Then came Pandemic and DEMS found to be safe, vote early and vote by mail . As always whenever DEMS find something “good” conservative has to hate that ( remember individual mandate Romney implemented in MA but as soon Obama adopted that Individual mandate became unconstitutional to GOP) , so GOP chose to vote on voting day then mail in ballot and early voting.
