I see your point... and it really doesn't matter. Israel will have an Arab majority within a few years.

Never forget, one is the brutality of invasion, the other is the brutality of resistance to invasion. There are not ' two sides ' to robbery with violence.

    Not in person.

On television and in print media of course.

Why should I be the least bit moved one way or the other by the sight of refugee camps.

I do keep in my scrapbook pictures of Israeli tanks chasing Palestinian youths down a street.

    Very cool looking.

I think two of them were modified Centurions and one was a Merkava (Hebrew for 'chariot' IIRC).

As Hitler did to the European Jews?

He kept annexing more territories and incarcerating Jews in Poland and Austria, remember?

    It appears that the Russian recognition of Palestine is to be kept from the American people;

    Anybody see it anywhere ?

Only in the Security Council. Aren't you aware that the US wants a Palestinian State ? Even Guantanamo George, as well as Obama, called for a ' viable and contiguous State of Palestine '. You're perhaps getting mixed up with what America wants and what Zionists want ?

So you think the U.N. is going to send the Israelis an eviction notice?

Palestine has stated that European settlers in the occupied territories don't have to leave... They can remain as Palestinian citizens.

I'm sure the foxes would enjoy allowing the hens to remain as "citizens".

Zionist self fulfilling prophecy and paranoia has caused a whole lot of bloodshed over the past 60 years.

    Oh please.

The Israelis have dealt with the Palestinians far, far, far more mercifully than the United States would under similar circumstances and immensely less brutally than the Palestinians ever would if they had power.

The Israelis could've exterminated the Palestinians in mass several decades ago and not a thing would've been done by the rest of the world.

    Oh Really?

    LOL

Well, let's accept that as true for a minute......Gaza's democratically elected government no longer speaks for the people who elected it?

Gaza is a desperate concentration camp with 70% of the population having been driven out of the West Bank. They are refugees.

    What do you expect?

I expect that they elected who they wanted to speak for them.

Just remember that 70% of the population of Gaza weren't born there.. and only 11 people have been killed by Hamas "rockets" in the past decade.

That somehow negates their democratically elected government?

This has what to do with their representation of the Palestinian people....or Hamas' claim to speak for "Palestine"?

There have been repeated scandals of Israeli infiltration into Hamas over the past 18 months.. and the Arab world is confounded by Hamas acting on cue for Israeli interests in crashing any peace talks.

So "The Arab World" now has veto power over decisions made by the elected Hamas?

    Wow.. that's a leap.

The Arab world disagrees with Hamas lobbing missles into Israel because it gives the Israelis an opportunity to call airstrikes on Gaza and derail any peace talks.
