Also, it is more contagious. And covid 19 is pneumonia, not the flu.

So you are saying Covid-19 is treated with antibiotics?

Don't worry, latest in two weeks, you, too, will be praising Trump for locking down the whole US.

Well, Gurl, first, I'm a rock-solid Conservative who voted for Trump in 2016, and who will probably be forced to vote for him again this year because the Democrat offering is just flat-out, gut-bucket HORRIBLE. Now... perhaps you have a clearer idea of who you're addressing....

The point I was making is that we docile, easily-manipulated Americans are being SCREWED HALF TO DEATH by the big pharmaceutical corporations. They get away with murder in the United States by jacking the price of prescription medicines up into the stratosphere (or severely curtailing supplies), but in other countries, like Germany (and MANY others) these companies don't even try to get away with the crap they pull on us routinely!

And, as far as any of my friends in Germany being "Euro Trash"...?! Well, you might be very fortunate if you were worth even HALF what any of them have in the 'bank', or, if you had accomplished even a fraction of what they have achieved during their working lives....

Hint: Germany is not (NOT) a "shithole" country!

South Korea has objectively done a much better job than the United States.

South Korea has tested >200,000. We have tested less than 10,000. So, you see why testing is so important?

No. that is not factual as the CDC has only released their own numbers not the total tested.

You can thank Jake for his wonderful chart posted i believe yesterday to verify that...

For some ideological zealots, it is Climate Change Denial II.

The House has expeditiously passed an emergency aid package focused on guaranteeing safety net programs like food assistance, unemployment insurance and temporary sick leave. The legislation would also make free coronavirus testing widely available in a bid to address one of the nation's major struggles in containing the outbreak.

Republican intransigence throws the future of the bill in doubt - on the same day Congress is expected to abscond for a weeklong recess as the market crashes following Trump's reassuring the nation.

the fact that Trump says will financially compensate those that are effected by the virus, could mean more go to the doctor to get confirmation in case they need proof later - not sure how that is going to work or proof needed

As of this morning, Vice President Pence could not give us an estimate of how many tests have been conducted.

    So still better than Obama.

You didn't answer the question though.

How do you feel about Trump's "Christian ban"?

He said 10,000. That is entirely fair as the current confirmed number was about 1800 six days ago and 8500 two days ago.

    Why?

    From wiki:

...The virus had spread to the US from an outbreak in Mexico. As of mid-March 2010, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimated that about 59 million Americans contracted the H1N1 virus, 265,000 were hospitalized as a result, and 12,000 died...

    Are we there yet?

The H1N1 Virus has a mortality rate of 0.01.

The low end estimate for COVID is 1%

No his chart said 1700.. You said 2k.....

The swine flu lasted for 1 year.

Do you expect 120,000 people to die from coronavirus in 1 year?
