So they are investigating the investigator of an investigation that investigated the investigation of another investigation?

This is getting into the theatre of the absurd.

For obvious reasons, this is going nowhere.

What's with this congress, anyway? How about they start doing stuff for the American people instead of using the Committee as a tit for tat retribution scheme for Repubs just because Trump committed some crimes and is being held accountable for it? And the irony, or rather, hypocrisy, is that the title of Comer & Jordan's subcommittee is "Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government" when they are weaponizing the federal government.

Maybe next time the GOP should find a candidate who is not a fraudster criminal pervert, and we wouldn't be having this conversation. Ya think?

WASHINGTON (AP) — House Republicans threatened to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress if he did not turn over unredacted materials related to the special counsel probe into President Joe Biden's handling of classified documents.

In a letter Monday — obtained by The Associated Press — Reps. James Comer and Jim Jordan demanded that Garland comply with the subpoena the two Republican chairmen sent last month as part of their emerging investigation into Special Counsel Robert Hur's decision not to charge the president.

Comer, chair of the Oversight Committee, and Jordan, chair of the Judiciary Committee, ordered the Justice Department to turn over the unredacted audio and transcripts of Hur's hours long interviews with Biden and his ghostwriter by April 8.

“If you fail to do so, the Committees will consider taking further action, such as the invocation of contempt of Congress proceedings,” the two lawmakers wrote.

Ohh, I'm sure Garland is scared. Yeah, right.

Why haven't they turned over the documents?
