Yes, especially the free money for the rich. About a year back, the NYT (IIRC) had an interactive spreadsheet on a web page where you could make very detailed changes to the federal budget to see their effects. I found it was a trivial exercise to balance the budget without hiking taxes or cutting social programs. I just cut out corporate giveaways, bailouts, military waste, the DEA, surveillance of innocent citizens, etc. Problem solved.

Maybe one whines about the power the rich and the problems their greed creates rather than the actual rich themselves? The effect rather than the direct cause?
