First Mitt won Iowa, then Santorum and now its possible that Ron Paul can win it with the delegates. We will see more of this in the future. THe media and the sheep who follow have gone out of their way to destort the truth. Rep. Paul (R-Texas) is currently estimated by The Associated Press to have zero delegates in Iowa. The AP numbers give former Sen. Santorum (R-Pa.) 13 delegates and former Massachusetts Gov. Romney 12. But Iowa Republican operatives scoffed at the AP figure. "Can I just be bold and tell you that they don't know what they're talking about," Steve Scheffler, one of the state's three Republican National Committee members, told The Huffington Post. "Our delegates are not tied to the percentages of who got what in the straw poll." "That's just not valid information at all," he reiterated. "That's just not correct information at all." http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/...iowa-delegates_n_1347743.html?ref=mostpopular
These are just prelim bouts. The lineup is taking place behind numerous closed doors and things change daily. When it gets down to the wire at the National GOP Convention, the big boys will come out to play...the state Party Chairmen and women and old-timers who know their way around Roberts Rules of Order and you will see unfolding many, many skirmishes...and the winner will be the one "they" decide on. Not the media but the real cigar-chomping, bourbon drinking party leaders. And out of that will also be the names you will hear a half year later when they are appointed to various positions.
