That QA from the defense skips the part where Grosskreutz had his hands up and Rittenhouse had his loaded rifle aimed at Grosskreutz, and Rittenhouse refused to lower his weapon defaulting his right to defend himself... since he was assaulting at that point. That's why Grosskreutz legally got the right to aim his weapon at Rittenhouse and not the other way around.
