BOSTON – Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced his run for president Wednesday in Boston.

The Democrat formally announced his candidacy at the Park Plaza Hotel. He was introduced by two-time former Democratic presidential candidate, Dennis Kucinich. Other speakers included Kennedy's wife, actress Cheryl Hines....

"My mission over the next 18 months of this campaign and throughout my presidency will be to end the corrupt merger of state and corporate power that is threatening now to impose a new kind of corporate feudalism in our country," Kennedy said.

This guy is a liberal but there are a lot of things about him I like. Pretty sure he is not a tool of the oligarchy. As old as he is, it is shocking that RFK Jr. represents a youth movement. But when he talks about a merger of state and corporate power he needs to spell out that he is talking about Biden.

I would love to see him debate Biden. But there are two chances of that happening. Slim and none. And Slim just left town. So perhaps he should debate an empty chair like Clint Eastwood once did. The empty chair would be more of a challenge than Biden.

    Nah...
    He can debate Williamson...
Just like Weld debated Walsh when Trump was afraid to debate in the 2020 Cycle...

RFK brings a critically important voice to the Democrat conversation. He's the real deal on Freedom and Liberty. We haven't had this quality of Democrat candidate since his father and uncle were in the presidential race.

He's a committed opponent to the fascist spy state.

Frightening Marriage of Media & Security State

'It is now all too obvious that the corporate media colluded with corrupt elements of the security state to alter the outcomes of two presidential elections. Their first foray into election interference failed because, in 2016, they underestimated the power of social media and allowed Donald Trump to speak directly to the voters. They fixed that problem in 2020 by convincing Facebook and Twitter to censor legitimate news stories while disseminating disinformation. And it is no coincidence that former Obama and current Biden administration officials were involved in both interference schemes.'

RFK will never stand for the curtain of Fascism to fall over his beloved nation.

'One such official, former acting CIA Director Michael Morell, testified before Congress last week that he facilitated the cover-up of the Hunter Biden laptop scandal at the request of then-Biden campaign advisor Antony Blinken. Morell coordinated the fraudulent open letter in which he and 50 other national security “experts” claimed that the entirely accurate story published by the New York Post before the 2020 election had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian disinformation operation.” Morell also contributed to the 2016 Russia collusion hoax by writing in a New York Times op-ed that Donald Trump was pro-Putin:'

He knows exactly how dangerous they are.

Well he seems a man of principle, not just another political hack looking to cash in or read speaches formulated by handlers and focus groups. If he starts getting a little too much attention he will be the target of disinformation and linked to Trump and/or Putin. RFK cannot be controlled and that makes him dangerous to the oligarchy. This is not the sort of commentary the DNC wants people hearing. I have to add that one cannot help but think that in many ways JFK was an inspirational giant compared to the likes of Biden, Trump, Obama, Bush, and Clinton.

ROBERT F. KENNEDY JR.: The general theme in my speech was this corrupt merger of state and corporate power, which has which is turning our country into a corporate kleptocracy. Into a system of... cushy socialism for the rich and this kind of brutal, merciless capitalism for the poor.

It keeps us in a state of war. It bails out banks at the same time that, you know, this month, last the United States government told 30 million people it was cutting their welfare check, their food stamp checks by 90%, it took it 15 million people off of Medicare. The same month, it gave $300 million dollars to the Silicon Valley Bank and tapped up the cost of the Ukraine war to $113 billion. We're sending $113 billion to the Ukraine. The entire budget of the EPA is $12 billion. The budget of CDC is $11 billion.

We have 57% of American citizens could not put their hands on a thousand dollars if they have an emergency. A quarter of our citizens are hungry.

I'm positive his father and uncle are rolling over in their graves seeing how this Kennedy turned out.... Every family needs a black sheep...

I keep forgetting that Cheryl Hines is married to this goofus... She's funny in everything she does.... except this endorsement...

Looking forward to the Kennedy/Williamson debates... should be a real barn burner...

So other than channeling dead Kennedys do you have any thoughts about his platform? Do you even know what his platform is?

Maybe start by going to his website and then get back to us with what you find to be objectionable

Sure, you posted it in the OP... a meaningless politician word salad of epic proportion

"to end the corrupt merger of state and corporate power that is threatening now to impose a new kind of corporate feudalism in our country,"

Your article posts some of his real credentials
    - Kennedy backstage at a July 2021 Reawaken America event with former President Donald Trump's ally Roger Stone, former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and anti-vaccine profiteer Charlene Bollinger.
    - Kennedy has been a guest on Infowars, the channel run by conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, and on the "War Room" podcast hosted by longtime Trump ally Steve Bannon
    - his bestselling 2021 book, "The Real Anthony Fauci," in which he accused the U.S.'s top infectious disease doctor of participating in "a historic coup d'etat against Western democracy."
    - Kennedy has repeatedly invoked Nazis and the Holocaust when talking about measures aimed at mitigating the spread of COVID-19,

He's as much of a Democrat as Gabbard, Sinema, and Manchin were....

And as I predicted in post 5, the linking to Trump begins. lol Liberals are so predictable. Trump/Putin and the race card. And the race card will not work against Kennedy.

Don't bash Manchin. He got Biden his pork loaded infrastructure bill. Where is the gratitude? lol Anyway, the Democrat voters can decide who a democrat is if primary elections are not rigged.

Forcing people to take experimental drugs - nothing nazis like about that.

And the book - over 23,000 reviews on Amazon with a 5 star rating.

Why is he a goofus? Too much principle? Not radical enough? Or just jealous of his super fine wifey? What's your main reason? I'm curious

The reason is obvious. Out of the gate he polls 14 percent of Biden voters. These numbers are a huge loss of face for Biden and a bad omen for the future. After all of the years of polarization -- RFK Jr. preaching a message of American unity? Can't have that sh**.

Read post #8... Goofus sometimes sounds nicer than fascist-curious...

At this point, he only has 7 things going for him, but many many more against.

Didn't ya'll try this politician gaslighting with Moscow Tulsi? She couldn't keep a straight face as a Democrat and is now where she belongs...

Cheryl Hines is funny and not unattractive.... super fine I wouldn't go...

RFK Jr. is a Complete IDIOT...
He isn't worthy of being mentioned on the same planet as His Dad or JFK...
    As far a "Kennedys" go...
He is Less RFK and More William Kennedy Smith...

Let me have one guess, it's his vaccine stance, right?

Anyway, this is how we do things. At least Biden is not trying to be like Trump and quite literally scare the competition out of running.

You got to do better than that for talking points. Here is some educational reading at that wackjob site called National Library of Medicine.

A positive association found between autism prevalence and childhood vaccination uptake across the U.S. population

Teddy holds that title (leaving a woman to drown, offering a deal with the Soviet Union), convicted murderer cousin Michael comes in second, and nephew William the rapist third.

    Conclusion:
The study strongly supports that MMR vaccination does not increase the risk for autism, does not trigger autism in susceptible children, and is not associated with clustering of autism cases after vaccination.
It adds to previous studies through significant additional statistical power and by addressing hypotheses of susceptible subgroups and clustering of cases.

    Robert F. Kennedy Jr
    @RobertKennedyJr

    Fox fires
    @TuckerCarlson
'five days after he crosses the red line by acknowledging that the TV networks pushed a deadly and ineffective vaccine to please their Pharma advertisers. Carlson’s breathtakingly courageous April 19 monologue broke TV’s two biggest rules: Tucker told the truth about how greedy Pharma advertisers controlled TV news content and he lambasted obsequious newscasters for promoting jabs they knew to be lethal and worthless. For many years, Tucker has had the nation's biggest audience averaging 3.5 million — 10 times the size of CNN. Fox just demonstrated the terrifying power of Big Pharma.'

RFK's statement is one of the most idiotic things that I have ever heard...:bored:
Tuck getting canned had NOTHING to do with "Big Pharma"...
Tuck got fired b/c of the blowback of his bullshit reporting about a "stolen election"...
RFK Jr. (Clearly) has a screw loose...
RFK Jr.'s family needs to consider involuntary commitment to a Mental Health Facility...
