Rollback Of Feminism: Unwed Mothers To Be Fined By Govt.

The City of Wuhan in China intends to fine unwed mothers. Giving birth outside of wedlock is going to be criminalized. Feminism is being rolled back in the largest country in the world. Check it out:

"A Chinese city is planning to fine women who have children out of wedlock - a policy which opponents say will lead to more abandoned children.


The plans, drawn up by family planning officials in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province, would target women who "knowingly have children out of wedlock", according to a report in the Global Times newspaper.

Unmarried mothers could be charged six times the annual per capita disposable income in Wuhan, a figure equivalent to about $26,000. Officials referred to the fines as "social compensation fees"....

I had thought about this idea too. Fining women who have too many children. But this would probably not do much to stop women getting themselves pregnant, and just lead to many infanticides.

I think the answer is compulsory sterilization.

Women who get more than one abortion and the men who impregnate them.
Also, those who have too many children, especially those who can scarcely provide for them all.

I think there should be exceptions for beautiful looking people, of course.

Im not American born, nor do i feel confused, but its true that my re entry to the Far East has not been 100% smooth, and Im considered to be an American.

The best bet is to maintain clarity in one's life imo. Choose an identity. Stick with it. One cannot be fish and fowl at the same time. One must choose.

I'm not sure why the outrage. I don't think it will work though. What happens if they don't pay the fine? Do they go after the father as well? I don't know how communist China works for the citizen---as far as who gets government welfare and who doesn't.

I know the welfare system here in US is very active in tracking down fathers and making them pay when mom gets welfare.
