Biden, like others who are ignorant of the WNBA complained that number one draft pick Caitlin Clark's $76,000 pay was far below what the NBA players make. Was he trying to gain the females vote? Note to Biden: It's not all about talent, it's also about profits the association makes. In it's 26 years the WNBA has never made a profit. So to be fair maybe Clark's pay should be a little less. But Biden will say anything he's told by his ignorant handlers and Dr. Jill, because when he speaks for himself it's hard to watch, and also very sad.
He doesn't need to say anything to gain the Women voters. ROEvember is gonna be a blood bath for the right.
You can't pay very high salaries, like the NBA, NFL, Major League Baseball or world soccer pay unless you have a huge, high paying fan base. Therefore the WNBA can't afford to pay huge salaries. The money is not there. It is interesting to note that Caitlin Clark is getting far more money from endorsements. Good for her! Give her time. She might help to turn the league around.
It’s interesting to me that Republicans just seem to not be able to grasp this — maybe if we start using a gun instead of women’s bodily autonomy they might grasp it?
Clark will enjoy much popularity and hopefully draw more fans to her games. Regardless of her salary she will be a quick millionaire from all her endorsements. I wish her well.
